Apartment | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Our lovely holiday home is situated 2 minutes walk from the centre of Bushmills and 5 minutes drive to the Giant's Causeway, fabulous beaches and golf courses. As well as the famous Distillery to tour around, Bushmills has great coffee shops and restaurants and there is lots to do in nearby Portrush and Portstewart.
The accommodation is all ground floor and comprises a double bedroom with en-suite and a twin bedded room. The living room also has a sofa bed if you need it. There is a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer which is open plan to the living area. We have installed a multi fuel stove and Freeview TV plus DVD player . High speed BT Infinity broadband is provided free of charge. Heating and hot water are gas powered. There is also a main bathroom with bath and overhead shower and you are welcome to use the barbecue. Hairdryer, bed linens and towels (excluding beach towels) included. There is a small front and rear garden area (with small table and 2 chairs where you can enjoy a coffee or glass of wine) which is not enclosed and which is communal.
As you can see from the photos this is our much loved holiday home which we have furnished with love and care. The beds are so comfy and most of the furnishings are from Next, Creations or Laura Ashley - it is a world away from most holiday lets which are very basic and not very homely. Why not enjoy a traditional week away poking around rock pools, collecting shells and reminding yourself of the holidays you enjoyed as a child, in a setting which is a home from home.

The County Antrim region
The North Coast of Northern Ireland has amazing unspoilt beaches beloved by surfers, plus amazing golf courses and scenery to die for. Within 10 minutes of our cottage you can enjoy a Blue Flag beach (Whiterocks), Royal Portrush Golf Course, the ruins of Dunluce Castle (visit at dusk and watch the sun set there - it's beautiful) and bustling seaside towns where you can enjoy an ice-cream or a candy floss. The Causeway Coastal Route is rated as one of the Top Five Road Trips worldwide (and when you drive it, you'll see why) and Michael Palin described the train journey between Coleraine and L'derry as one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world.
There is lots to do such as a visit to the Giants Causeway (5 minutes drive) to see the amazing rock formation there or try a tour of Bushmills Distillery - the oldest in the world! The Glens of Antrim aren't far and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is good fun, providing it's not too windy! In Bushmills you'll find pubs, coffee shops and interesting owner owned shops. Whether you enjoy fishing, walking, or just chilling with a cappuccino, you'll enjoy a stay here.
