The County Antrim region

County Antrim is famous for the Giants Causeway, rugged coastline and sandy beaches. It also has delightful, peaceful villages, culture in the historic castles and, not forgetting the Bushmills distillery! The capital, Belfast boasts great shopping, nightlife and restaurants and museums and galleries. The most popular attraction of the region is the Causeway Coast, where the scenery is the most spectacular that you are ever likely to come across. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world, where columns of basalt rise out of the sea. It is truly magnificent.
