About the home

These cottages offer quality and comfort in a unique setting. The breathtaking scenery of the area makes for a memorable holiday. The area offers opportunities for walking, fishing on both river and sea, and the challenges of superb links golf courses.

Local restaurants offer well cooked food, or have a group barbecue at your cottages.

At the end of a day exploring the coves and bays of the area, your cosy cottages, with turf fire, will be a welcome retreat.

Each cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 people.

Kitchen facilities are excellent, and there is an open fire in each lounge area.

The cottages are all beside the owner's home, and we enjoy the challenge of making your stay with us memorable.

Each cottage has a patio area with some furniture.

There is parking for 2 cars at each cottage, or we can accommodate a small minibus.

The games room can be adapted for use as a seminar room, or for group meals.

The laundry area is available to guests, or laundry can be done locally for you.

Conditions

For group bookings we hold a damage deposit of £100 per cottage which we return at the end of your stay if the cottages are left as you found them.

Full accommodation costs should be paid 4 weeks before your arrival.

We accept credit or debit cards.

The County Antrim region

The Causeway Coast and Glens will charm and delight all who visit the region. Spectacular coastal scenery with dramatic cliffs and headlands made all the more impressive by the small harbours and peaceful beaches which line the coast.

The Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge are all within easy distance of the cottage, and the local Distillery at Bushmills is also well worth a visit.

If you travel inland the famous Glens of Antrim offer a natural beauty that is a world away from the frantic bustle of modern life.

Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which crosses a 24m deep chasm.

Dunluce Castle, which dates back to the 14th century.

The ferry to rathlin Island offers the visitor an unspoiled and natural escape to view some superb beauty and wildlife.

The area also boasts 5 challenging golf courses, including Royal Portrush.

Family attractions, such as Barry's amusements, or Leslie Hill Farm are always popular with our visitors.

the option to hire a wetsuit and take a surfing lesson is a great challenge.

“Location, Location, Location!” We came to stay in these cottages for a week long "family reunion." There were sixteen of us, ranging in age from 8-78, all traveling distances from England and the USA. We found the area, and the cottages, to be absolutely perfectly suited to our needs. We had sixteen people with different needs. Some wanted to relax, some wanted to visit historic and cultural sites, some wanted to hike some wanted to kayak. We accomplished everything on our lists! The location of these cottages was close to everything... Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, several National Trust properties, the Giant's Causeway Way (footpath, which we used a lot, and offered amazing views of the area), and several beautiful beaches where our paddlers paddled. The cottages themselves were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was easily accessible and was very helpful. Any concerns that we had were addressed in a timely manner. The young and older kids enjoyed the game room with table tennis and a pool table. As an American visitor I was not accustomed to the extra costs... ex: paying for electricity and hot water, use of washing machine ~ in the US, those costs would typically be included in the rental price. This was a slight detraction for us. Overall, the experience was excellent. We LOVED our location! We also enjoyed being together in neighboring cottages. We had privacy when desired, but were close to family and had plenty of time together.
