Half Crown House is a large, comfortable family property in the Suffolk village of Ixworth, 8 miles north east of the beautiful country market town of Bury St Edmund s. Perfectly situated in a quiet cul de sac just off the main High Street of Ixworth, where you will find local butcher, convenience store, pubs and fine dining restaurant. Close by is the local green extensive playing facilities for young and older children.

Half Crown House offers plenty of space for up to 9 adults and up to 2 babies. The 6 bedrooms have a mixture of super king, twin, king, and 1 single bed available. Additionally 2 cots are also available. There is an en suite bathroom off the master bedroom with an additional separate walk in shower. The family bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and overhead shower.

Downstairs you'll find a spacious hall leading through to a large open kitchen and separate dining room. There is a separate lavatory off the hall way also. The kitchen has a range dual fuel cooker, with a gas hob and 2 electric fan ovens, plus small conventional oven. There is large American style fridge and freezer with a chilled water dispenser. Also you have a dishwasher, and a washing machine in the integral garage. Fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pans etc.

The round dining room table seats 8 - 10 and there is a high chair and booster seat.

The lounge is found at the rear of the house and over looks the garden. Delightfully there are full bi folding doors which open up across the whole of the room to bring the outside feeling to the living room.

Medium sized, established, sunny garden with dining furniture and parasol.

Linen, towels included. Check in 4.00 pm, depart 10.00am. Sunday change over. Minimum 7 night bookings. Mid August to mid October. Sorry no pets.

Note: A gentleman of mature years lodges in an annexed part of the house and will be in residence over the summer. The only sharing part of the house is the garage where the washing machine is. He does not have access to the main house. He has been known to us for 3 years.
