House / 4 bedrooms / sleeps 7
A 12 year old house with 4 bedrooms (one has ensuite shower), 2 lounges and a large open plan kitchen with adjacent further lounge area. Large heated conservatory with french doors from house and also to the patio.
The patio drops down on to the rear lawn which leads you out into the private rear lane where cars may be parked. The front of the house faces East and overlooks the harbour and marina, in fact the water is about 100 feet from the front door.
The front garden is ideal to lounge in and watch the world go by while the back is mostly secluded and private. 150 yds away are two beaches, one on each side of the harbour and the coastal path on which you can walk or cycle for miles in either direction. A great spot to stay local or a superb base from which you can tour the South West corner of Wales.

A stunning and classic coastline with cliffs, inlets, estuaries and beautiful, award-winning sandy beaches. There are many opportunites for all types of water sports in many of the coastal towns and villages and plenty of chances to watch wildlife galore. You can indulge yourself in historical activities with so many Castles and historical sites.
The area is known also for it's spectacular views around the coast or inland over the hills and mountains.
Much of the actual coastline is governed by the National Trust or National Parks such as the Brecon Beacons so access is easy and welcomed. There are so many facilities to entertain on any day no matter the weather and the many visitor and tourist information centres are keen to advise.
Whatever you want from more sophisticated times in the Cities such as Swansea and Cardiff to seclusion on the hills, beaches and cliff walks, we have it all here in West Wales.
Burry Port, with it's mainline station and a range of small shops to cover immediate needs is a superb base. It has a Post Office, pubs, different types of restaurants and a nearby golf club. Just a mile away is the huge country park with horse riding and ski slope, and in summer months many attractions such as the annual steam rally. The motor racing circuit is right next door and on most summer weekends various car and motorbike clubs meet to show and race. The small airport is right beside the circuit so why not learn to fly while holidaying here. Just a few miles away is the brand new horse racing venue of Ffos Las. Finally if fishing is your interest then the choice of beach or coarse or boat is enormous.
