"Fantastic place to stay"

My husband I along with our two dogs, stayed at Ings barn. The welcome pack lived up to its name after a long journey there.. What can I say, the place was spotless on arrival, the garden, pool area and fishing lake are so well kept. We took a walk in to Burge le Marsh, about 6 miles there and back. lovely little village. Co Op & Spa shop, bakery, butchers and a really good Chinese take away plus fish & chip shop and 3 pubs. The Barn is so relaxing. I often caught my husband who has such a hard time chilling out, simply looking at the fantastic county views. We took a drive into Skegness, very busy but kids would love it, lots to do. We found a quite beach which the dogs loved. We used the swimming pool ever day and the hot tub in the evenings. The barn is of the highest standard with everything you could possibly need. It would be the icing on the cake if there was sun loungers to fall asleep in the garden, but the chairs are fine. Lots of birds flying in and out feeding at the feeders , and bunny's at the bottom of the garden who seem to love teasing our dogs. Loved it so much we are going to book to come back again next year.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and found Ings Barn so relaxing. Thank you for your kind and helpful comments. We will certainly invest in a couple of sun loungers for next year. We hope you return to try them out. Many thanks Debbie

"Amazing Barn Conversion in idylic location!!"

This is a truly beautiful place to stay. The barn itself is has been wonderfully renovated and the owners have thought of everything! The kitchen is very well equipped. We brought a lot of things from home but didn't need to!! We stayed here for a week with another family for New Year and was doubtful as to whether we would use the hot tub that much. We were in it everyday, some days 2 or 3 times even. The temperature of the water was so warm, it was a weird feeling being outdoors in the middle of December and being lovely and warm in the water. Our party included 4 adults, 3 children and a dog, all of which loved staying here. I would definitely recommend Ings Barn to a friend and hope to return ourselves one day.

"Superb barn with every facility available"

Stayed for one week at Ings Barn with family of 10. Had a wonderful week. Very homely and comfortable barn. Everything in the kitchen that was needed was there. We enjoyed just relaxing at the barn, using pool and hot tub. Men enjoyed the fishing. Pete the caretaker was very informative and helpful.

"Our Wonderfull Ruby Wedding Family Week at Ings Barn"

Six adults and four grandchildren (5 to 12yrs) spent a week together in August to celebrate our Ruby Wedding. The very helpfull owners Debbie & Andy have clearly developed this property with an understanding of the requiriements for a successfull extended family / large family holiday. Providing well balanced accomodation with good quality internal fixtures and fittings all in a very usable environment. Showering capacity was perfect with onsuite, family bathroom and wet room ensuring everyone had an available shower or lavatory. Food prepartion, cooking utensiles, tableware and dining table size were again well specified for family groups. Complimented by the perfect combination of effectively heated swimming pool which our family played and swam in from dawn to dusk. The lake provided endless opportunities for fishing (Tench, rudd and perch all caught) with pool dipping for the younger children. Adults can relax in the hot tub after a long day relaxing!!!. Ings Barn is well located being in quite countryside and we watched some beautifull sun rises and sunset and listening to the birds. Shopping is well catered for with shops just 2.4 miles away including a goos fishing tackle shop. Our thanks to Pete the caretaker who meet us on our arrival and familiarised us with the facilities, much appreciated. The week provided for us with just what we wanted for a fun and relaxing family holiday to remember. Our Thanks to Debbie & Andy

"a fantastic homely barn with everything you need for all ages"

We have just arrived home from our 3 night weekend stay in ings barn and are already looking to book for next year.we had 8 adults 3 children and 1 baby in the barn and 2 adults and a teenager in a trailer tent outside using the hook up and we also took our dog.The barn is perfect for all age groups and caters for all your needs. The welcome basket is a lovely touch and loved the fact that the dog had a welcome basket too:0).we loved the fact that the location was so peaceful and very few cars on the road as half of us had bikes and the other half enjoyed the scenic walks to a lovely pub that we found which took us 20 mins on foot. The weather wasnt great however its didnt ruin our break as we took a gazebo with us so we could still enjoy the outdoor space and have a BBQ.It was my husbands birthday on the saturday night so it was a fantastic opportunity to have a gathering of our friends and family all under one roof.thankyou to pete for our warm welcome, cant wait for our next visit to ings barn!!!!thanks Debbie:0)
