Little White Cottage is a luxurious newly refurbished property in the heart of the Cotswolds. It has an open plan kitchen/living room. Positioned at the end of the owner's private drive, with discretionary use of their private tennis court. It has its own private and secluded seating area overlooking the tennis court and the surrounding paddock. It is not overlooked and is a good distance from the owners property.
The property is completely refurbished throughout and has a wood burner, 2 bedrooms and one bathroom accessed from both rooms. There is s Super King sized bed which can be alternatively used as a twin . The second bedroom has a single bed with a truckle bed underneath. It also has a separate W.C.
The local village shop, post office and pub are within walking distance. There is plenty to see and do in the local Cotswold towns of Burford, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. There are many local attractions including The Cotswold Wild Life Park , Blenheim Palace, Oxford, Cirencester and many lovely Cotswold Villages. We are ideally placed for many National Trust properties and beautiful gardens to explore.The cottage is in a peaceful and rural location and ideal to explore the surrounding area which has plenty on offer for walkers, gardeners, cyclists, golfers, shoppers, tennis players and food lovers.

Little White Cottage is situated in a peaceful, rural village in the heart of the Cotswolds. The area has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.There is plenty to see and do in the local Cotswold towns of Burford, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water etc. The area is ideally suited to accommodate both active family holidays or as a peaceful and relaxing retreat. There are plenty of attractions to amuse both children and adults alike as well as miles of beautiful unspoilt countryside to explore. We are also surrounded by renowned restaurants and gastro pubs. We are within easy reach of many beautiful National Trust properties as well as Arboretums and Gardens for the more green fingered! The spa town of Cheltenham is an easy drive as are Oxford and Cirencester. The area is full of antique shops with Lechlade, Bibury and Tetbury all within reach. Bicester Village Retail Park is 40 minutes away and is a very popular destination for shoppers of all ages!
Racing at Cheltenham is a popular attraction and we have many festivals including Cornbury Music Festival and the Big Feastival to name but two.
Milton under Wychwood is ideally located within easy reach of the idyllic Cotswold villages, but also within easy access to the larger towns or Oxford, Cirencester, Stratford and Cheltenham. Large attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Warwick Castle etc are all close. Chastleton Hall and Hidcote Manor Gardens are, among many, within easy reach.
The village of Milton has it's own well stocked shop, pub, post office and children's playground and are all within walking distance of the Little White Cottage. There is even a Fish and Chip van that visits the village on a Thursday....delicious! There are many public footpaths to explore with breath taking views. Nearby Burford is packed with history and is a great place to spend the day browsing its antique shops and boutiques and has a good range of cafes and restaurants to rest weary feet!
Burford Garden Company is just outside Burford and is a local delight. It is a large garden and home centre packed with everything for the gardener and those who are less green fingered. Large Café and children's adventure playground ensures everyone is kept happy.
The larger towns of Oxford (35mins) and Cheltenham(45mins) are well worth a visit offering great shopping,beautiful architecture, museums etc. Stratford is approx. 1hr 10 mins drive.
The local train station at Charlbury offers good access to Oxford (15mins) or London ( 1hr 10).
