About the home

Ash's Barn, set in beautiful countryside is a quiet hideaway for couples in the heart of the Cotswolds.
This recently restored 18th Century stone barn has been converted into a comfortable living space, with well equipped kitchen and living room, and above, a mezzanine floor sleeping area and shower-room.
It also boasts high oak beamed ceiling; limestone interior walls; underfloor heating and woodburning stove.
Private and secluded, the barn also has its own parking, and garden with terrace overlooking the Windrush valley.

The open plan nature of Ash's barn lends itself best to couples though older children can be accommodated on the sofa-bed in the living room.

For bookings made more than 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday we will require a deposit of 25% of the total rental. The total balance will then be due at 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday we will require the total balance to be paid in full at booking.

Situated 5 miles west of Burford and 5 miles east of Northleach just off the A40 road:
From Burford:
Turn right off the A40 road at the western most turning signedposted 'Windrush' (the turning is situated directly adjacent to a building on the side of the main A40 road and is the second turning when approaching from Burford). Follow the narrow lane about 300m, down through a wood, and ahead of you on a slight bend is a farm house. Turn left into the farm yard, bear left and then right.

“A lovely gem in the middle of the English countryside” everything about this property was great! beginning with John, the owner, who help and answered all of our questions. the price was remarkable for such a nice converted little, romantic gem. worth every penny. it is a beautiful little house, homey and welcoming and in a good location. we enjoyed a week of exploring the Cotswold and returning every evening to enjoy the great surroundings and romantic atmosphere. the house itself is well equipped and comfortable.
