About the home

We offer an opportunity to rent this beautiful house at only £1800 per week, for a truly memorable break in the stunning Cotswolds. We have luxurious en suite rooms, wood burning stoves, a fully equipped, large country kitchen/breakfast room and comfortable reception rooms. (Also WiFi & Sky+ HD TV). Self-catering holiday lets can be for up to 2 weeks at Xmas, New Year and school holidays with flexible start-dates. (Enquire for details).

When not relaxing in our beautiful home there are all kinds of places to visit and activities (clay shooting, riding, all-year golf courses, country walks) all on your doorstep. Cotland House is perfectly situated to take advantage of everything thing this unique area has to offer.

For the rest of the year we offer stylish, luxurious Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, walking distance from Burford.

We offer family, double, twin & single rooms. The rooms are luxurious and recently refurbished. All have en suite shower or bath and are equipped with a hospitality tray for tea and coffee, flat screen TV, hairdryers etc.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, in front of a wood-burning stove on winter mornings or on a sunny terrace in summer. Service is usually 07.30 to 09.30. It is a relaxed affair and we offer locally produced, free-range or organic food wherever possible e.g.

Locally produced Gloucester old spot sausage
Burford or Organic Daylesford Eggs, fried, poached, boiled
Organic tomatoes and mushrooms
Various fruit, yogurt and juices
Fresh locally baked bread
Fair-trade or organic tea and coffee.

There is off-road parking for two cars and guests enjoy the use of the garden including the deck/patio and terrace.

Children are welcome. We operate a total no-smoking policy and regret we are unable to accommodate pets.

Our family rooms have a double and single bed. A cot and put-me-up bed can be provided on request. A supplement of £7 per additional child is charged for breakfast.

You may want to extend your weekend to a 3-night stay - Call for special 3-night rates (including Sunday).

Conditions

For B&B bookings we usually ask for a 20% deposit and the balance on departure.

To the west, down the Roman Fosse Way, are Gloucestershire's golden stone villages, the market towns of Cirencester, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold and the larger Spa towns of Cheltenham and Bath. Venture a few miles north to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and medieval Warwick and to the south, the winding River Thames as it meanders from its source in nearby Lechlade, onwards to London.

The Burford / Fulbrook area

Burford offers all manner of shops, boutiques, pubs & eateries and is one of the Cotswolds’ most picturesque towns, with many buildings dating back to 15th and 16th centuries. It is a perfect base for touring the Cotswold region.
