The Donegal region

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

Bundoran

The popular seaside town of Bundoran is situated in County Donegal and offers the Bundoran Adventure Park, Waterworld, cliff top walks and golf courses. Ballyshannon, the oldest town in Ireland, is close by and has a folk festival every August, shops selling local crafts, pubs, restaurants, a leisure centre and a beach.
