The local scenic beauty is most definitely a huge attraction. Sandy beaches, numerous viewpoints from rolling hills, cliffs and mountains.
An ideal way to enjoy the scenic beauty of this area is by taking the "Inishowen 100" route plan by the local tourist industry which shows off Inishowens best features throughout a 100km journey.
The nature of the local people is welcoming and warming. People here have a genuine and caring interest in other people and this is a most unique and pleasant experience for travellers from largely populated areas to sample.
A relaxing holiday in the countryside is what you will get yet there are cities with large populations as nearby as 20 minutes drive.
Buncrana town itself offers numerous attractions for a visitor:-

"At the heart of Buncrana"
Really cosy flat with helpful owners. The flat is a stones throw away from the centre of Buncrana with it's array of bars and pubs. Would stay here again and highly recommend to anybody!
We are delighted that you took the time to write a lovely review about your stay. The property definitely has a great location with everything on your doorstep! We would love to welcome your return in the future.
Thank you so much :)

We enjoyed our stay in this cosy and comfortable first floor flat with its two bedrooms, shower, small open plan living room with kitchen and dining table. However, because of it's cracking location at the end of Buncrana Main Street, we didn't spend much time in the flat and only used the kitchen for breakfasts. Everything was within easy walking distance, ie shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, so there was no need to slave over a cooker and miss out on the craic with the locals in the array of pubs up and down the main street.
Thank you Elizabeth for your kind review. We are delighted that you took the time and effort to write a little something as this is our first year renting online! I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We would love to welcome your return in the future. Hopefully see you again soon :)
