The Powys/Brecon Beacons region
Towns to explore: Hay-on-Wye (world famous for its books); Builth Wells (home to the Royal Welsh Showground); Llandrindod Wells (spa town, host to Victorian Festival); Brecon (famous for the Brecon Beacons) and Brecon Jazz Festival.
The barn is located about half a mile from the peaceful village of Rhulen in Edw valley. Rhulen consists of six cottages and its well know 13th century church of St David which is thought to be one of the earliest churches built in Radnorshire.
Rhulen is a small hamlet nestling in the rolling hills of Radnorshire countryside. Golf and fishing nearby and glorious walks from the doorstep. The Immediate area is full of attractive walks and footpaths with excellent public access, that cross heather and grouse moors and ancient drover's roads. You may even stumble across a heard or two of wild ponies.
The winding lanes around Rhulen are delightful for driving and cycling.
