Builth Wells, or in Welsh Llanfair-ym-Muallt, is a small traditional Welsh market town set in the heart of Mid Wales. 1 Maes y Coed is a spacious bungalow conveniently situated in the town close to all amenities.
Although small, Builth Wells can boast a Castle, a Cinema, a theatre, a promenade, a golf course, a swimming pool, tennis courts, rugby pitch, bowls and right opposite Maes y Coed is Builth's Cricket ground.
We also have a beautiful promenade which takes you to the 18th century Bridge which spans the glorious river Wye. The river here marks the boundary between the old counties of Breconshire and Radnorshire. Carry on around to the town and on the way you'll pass the beautiful full size bronze Welsh Black Bull and the 1000 feet square mural depicting the final days of Llewellyn ap Gruffydd, the last native Prince of Wales.
Builth is home to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, one of the most prestigious events of its type in Europe. This show brings together the farming industry and the rural community in a unique and very special 'Welsh' way a makes it an ideal family event. Other major events held at the Showground include the 'Winter Fair' and the 'Spring Festival'
