A simple stone eco Cabin in an old cider orchard overlooking the Sgithwen Brook in the Upper Wye Valley Mid Wales. Sleeps 2 people with a choice of either a double futon bed or single bunkbeds. A family of up to 4 can be accommodated at extra cost. Small kitchen/lounge (No TV), dining porch and patio with plenty of outside space, picnic table, fire pit and BBQ. Simply furnished with rustic hand made furniture, plenty of hooks and shelves for your personal belongings and the kitchen is stocked with cutlery, crockery and basic cooking equipment including a toaster and kettle - no fancy electrical gadgets. On Wye Valley Walk and National Cycle Route 8. An ideal exploration base for walkers, cyclists, canoeists and anyone wishing to relax and explore this beautiful part of Mid Wales. Close to Hay on Wye Book Town and Brecon Beacons National Park

Solar panels help provide green electricity and water is drawn from aquafers 180 feet underground with no chemical or chlorine treatment necessary.

"mid week stay"

stayed here with my dog ... garden was enclosed so he could wonder in and out safely. The cabin is compact but equipped with most things. ...heating is a gas stove fire which really throws out some h… More
