"GREAT COTTAGE NOT SO GREAT TOWN"
great little cottage, great hosts especially James knowledge of local archeology.not so great was that the local pub 500mt from the cottage had shut down and the nearest pub had a fire in the kitchen a… More
It was unfortunate that there had been a fire in the local pub/restaurant just prior to the arrival of these guests, as with many guests, they would have enjoyed an evening meal within walking distance. The pub/restaurant, which is about an 8 minute walk is now up and running as usual. The village hosts an award winning post office/shop which supplies all of the basics and a lot more, however the nearest large supermarket is a 10 minute drive away in Builth Wells. Llangammarch Wells, situated on an ancient drovers route and connected to the rest of the world by the Heart of Wales train line, is a small and picturesque village surrounded by mountains and rivers, but if you're looking for an array of shops and restaurants within walking distance, this is not the place.

"Did not meet expectations! Tiny, dark, depressing!"
Having rented many properties in a similar price range, I felt that our expectations were realistic, and this cottage failed to meet those expectations in a very big way.It is hard to know where to st… More
Having given this response much thought, I came to realise that most of what I want to say has already been said by ALL of the other reviews listed here. We have been extremely lucky with the guests we have had at our lovely cottage, and we appreciate them now more than ever. Not for one moment can we understand what has driven this guest to write such a review. In my opinion this is more a reflection of the person than of the cottage!! We are so proud of our little cottage and run our business with complete integrity. We charge a fair price, and provide a cosy get away, with comfortable and quality fixtures and fittings. The cottage is kept warm (guests can have the heating on as much as they want at no extra cost) and completely spotless and we are at hand to provide any help or support that's needed. Guests are welcome to use as much wood for the burner as they like all free of charge, and we even offer to light it for them – in most cases, the burner is lit for guests on arrival. We also offer to shop in advance of guest arrivals, so as to make the holiday as easy as possible. In all, we feel we do a good job - all our other reviews and our guest books confirm this! We have many guests that come back for repeat visits. Please read all our reviews for a balanced view, and we look forward to giving you a warm welcome to Ceiros Cottage.

"Lovely, cosy cottage with everything you might need."
We had a very relaxing holiday, in a beautiful setting. The cottage had everything we needed, and more. Owners were very helpful and friendly. The girls got very excited when the local farmer was bringing the sheep down off the hill right down the road past the cottage. Would definitely recommend it.
