Ceiros Cottage is situated in the heart of the lush Welsh countryside. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and wild nature, there's plenty to do for those that enjoy the great outdoors. After a day of activities, you can retire to the comforts of the cottage, with its log fueled wood burner to keep you cosy.

Ceirios Cottage is just five minutes walk from the village of Llangammarch Wells which has a small post office/shop, a pub - the Aberceiros Inn, which offers bar meals - and a railway station. The picturesque village is situated where the Irfon and Cammerch rivers converge, and there are many beautiful walks in the vicinity.

If you like walking, there are numerous beautiful walks right from the front door. If you like BIG walks, the Wye Valley Walk is a 218km walk of startling contrasts from ravine gorge cloaked in woodland, through meadow and orchard, to rugged and remote uplands. "GREAT COTTAGE NOT SO GREAT TOWN"

great little cottage, great hosts especially James knowledge of local archeology.not so great was that the local pub 500mt from the cottage had shut down and the nearest pub had a fire in the kitchen a… More

It was unfortunate that there had been a fire in the local pub/restaurant just prior to the arrival of these guests, as with many guests, they would have enjoyed an evening meal within walking distance. The pub/restaurant, which is about an 8 minute walk is now up and running as usual. The village hosts an award winning post office/shop which supplies all of the basics and a lot more, however the nearest large supermarket is a 10 minute drive away in Builth Wells. Llangammarch Wells, situated on an ancient drovers route and connected to the rest of the world by the Heart of Wales train line, is a small and picturesque village surrounded by mountains and rivers, but if you're looking for an array of shops and restaurants within walking distance, this is not the place.
