Falcon Court is a block of self catering apartments situated in the heart of Bugibba within St. Paul's Bay. This town is one of the most popular holiday resorts in Malta. Falcon Court is just about 200 metres away from the clear blue Mediterranean Sea.

We are within easy reach of Bugibba's Shopping Centre, Beach, Cinema, Casino, Discos, Restaurants, Bars & Bus Station.

The Island of Malta region

Malta, officially the Republic of Malta (Maltese: Repubblika ta' Malta), is a small and densely populated island nation comprising an archipelago of seven islands, three of which are inhabited. It is located in the Mediterranean Sea in Southern Europe just 93 km (58 mi) south of Sicily, giving the country a warm, Mediterranean climate, and 288 km (179 mi) to its south is North Africa.[1][2] The nation's de facto capital city is the historic Valletta.

Throughout much of its history, Malta has been considered a crucial strategic location due in large part to its position in the Mediterranean Sea.[3] It was held by several ancient cultures including Sicilians, Romans, Phoenicians, Byzantines and others. The island is commonly associated with the Knights of St. John who ruled it. This, along with the historic Biblical shipwreck of St. Paul on the island, ingrained the strong Roman Catholic legacy which is still the official and most practised religion in Malta today.

The country's official languages are Maltese and English, the latter a legacy from Malta's period as a British colony – the United Kingdom is the most recent outside ruling power. Malta gained independence in 1964 and is currently a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, as well as the European Union which it joined in 2004.


St Paul's Bay (San Pawl il-Baħar in Maltese) is situated in the north east of the island of Malta, sixteen kilometres from the capital city Valletta.

Its name refers to the shipwreck of Saint Paul, as documented in the Acts of the Apostles, due to the tradition that Saint Paul was shipwrecked on the isles, named St. Paul's Isles, which are situated in St Paul's Bay.

The localities of Burmarrad, Qawra, Buġibba, Xemxija, Mselliet, and San Martin as well as part of Bidnija and Mistra, form part of the San Pawl il-Baħar Local Council. The area of the locality is 14.47km².

The resident population in November 2005 stood at 13,619 persons. This population goes up to about 60,000 during the period of June to September. The increase is due both to Maltese summer residents and tourists lodging in hotels, especially in Buġibba and Qawra.

Shower very tight. Wet slippery tiled flooring throughout the house. Sea, bus stop, shops, restaurants are very close. Cigarette ends flew into the yard from the upper floors to us. The owner is close… More

I confirm that this guest was staying with us at Falcon Court within a group of 6. Through a 9 night stay, guest had frequent contact with us (a) face to face; (b) by e-mail and (c) phone. It is strange to read the comments, as none of these complaints were ever made through the whole stay. The only requests we had from this guest was (1) to change a TV remote control that was not functioning well - replaced immediately; (2) to print out some documents - they were sent as an attachment to our e-mail and delivered within few minutes; (3) request to change airport transfer requirements - acknowledged and catered for as requested.

Despite our clear 'no visitor' policy, there was one occasion were an extra 5 visitors (admitted by complainant) were seen making use of the accommodation facilities we rented. A copy of our visitor policy was posted to their door. Complainant was also advised about some damage they caused and notified that they will not be charged.

Guest acknowledged damage with an e-mail saying:
'Please accept my sincere apologies in connection with this case. If I will be able I will be recommending you to travelers as a kind and attentive host to rental income compensate damage.'

I just wonder why guest never mentioned any of the several issues included within this review. Also trying to make sense out of statements like a 'standard ceramic shower tray' being described as 'tight'. I very much doubt the intentions behind such a review. .....and watch it because it's raining cigarettes here :-)
