Perfectly located in Bugibba, one of Malta's top resort towns, this charming, light, airy and spacious apartment (150 sqm), decorated in Maltese rustic style forms part of a block with swimming pools (open all year - confirm with owner) for adults and children. It is located in a quiet street which is 'round the corner' from the seafront and Bugibba Square, where it's all happening, so you don't need a car. Everything you will need is just a short walk away. Three air-conditioned bedrooms each with its own en suite bathroom ensure that all guests are comfortable and enjoy their privacy. There is also a guest toilet separate from the bedrooms. The spacious living area of the apartment leads onto a balcony where you can enjoy the sun or dine 'al fresco'. The balcony overlooks the swimming pool area with its ample sunbathing space so you can sit in the sun on the deck-chairs provided with the property, work on your tan or cool off right at your doorstep!
More Information: The main door of the apartment is accessed from the ground floor so no need to use the lift or stairs. The balcony however is one floor above the pool area which is at semi-basement level. The master bedroom is very large and also includes a sofabed and very big en suite full bathroom with corner bath and separate shower cubicle. The other double bedroom is also large and besides having an en suite bathroom with full bath and hand-held shower, also has a walk-in closet. The third bedroom is a smaller twin room with 2 single beds and this also has an en suite bathroom with shower cubicle. There is an extra daybed in the TV nook of the living area. There is plenty of wardrobe space in the apartment.
This apartment has been equipped and furnished as a home unlike many other holiday rental properties. The bathrooms are luxurious with marble features and the furniture is made of solid wood. It is large and spacious with plenty of room to move about.

Bugibba, extremely popular with tourists and locals alike, is located in St. Paul's Bay in the North-East of Malta, opposite the tiny Island where St. Paul was said to have been shipwrecked. This part of Malta is considered to be the gateway to the best beaches on the island. Bugibba boasts a small sandy beach and rocky coast where you can swim in the beautiful, blue Mediterranean Sea, just a short walk from the apartment. Take a leisurely stroll along the seafront promenade with its numerous shops, restaurants, pubs, clubs, bingo hall, games arcade, casino and open air entertainment for adults and kids of all ages or watch a 3D movie at the cinema just up the road. Tour operators in Bugibba offer everything from tours around Malta, Gozo and Comino to horse-riding and diving. From the bus terminal which is also within walking distance of the apartment, you can take a bus to most locations in Malta including major beaches.Or take a Hop-On, Hop-Off tour around Malta in an open-top bus.
Golf: The Royal Malta Golf Club is the only Golf Course in Malta and is located about 30 minutes drive from the apartment. Non-members may use the club against payment of the required Green Fees. This is an extremely spacious apartment in a residential block of apartments. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all large looking bigger than can possibly be captured on the photographs. There is ample storage space and everything appeared as it does on the photos.
We travelled as a family with 2 small children (aged 6&4) along with one set of grandparents and the apartment suited our needs perfectly with the layout of the rooms giving everyone their required privacy.
The location is OK but quite a number of empty buildings locally and closed shops and restaurants. Easy 10 minute walk to the seafront (only a small manmade beach) and the bus station offering bus links to all other places in the island. Highly recommend Mellieha Bay beach for families and also Golden Bay - both of which about 25 mins away by bus. Trollees Supermarket near the bus station was the best supermarket we found and had everything you could need for a self catering holiday.
Our main disappointment was that we were unable to use the pool for the duration of our holiday. On arrival we were told the surrounding patio area was being refurbished but should be ready in a couple of days. On our last morning (day 9!) we were told we could use the main pool (still the childrens pool was half empty and full of debris) however we only had 3 hours until departure and the water was still green with algae so not appealing to us at all. Most disappointing for our two children who had to look out at the pool from the balcony every day and be answered with 'not today' when they asked if they could swim! We would not have booked this apartment if we were given any indication that the pool would not be available. I see it has now been added to the advertisement that the pool is open from June (we arrived 28 May and left 5 June) but this was not there when we made our booking.
Lovely apartment, friendly and helpful owner but not the complete happy package we hoped for.
The pool in question is a communal one and I was not aware of, and had no control over, the works (and their duration) around the pool area at the time of accepting this booking. The clients did not communicate with me that the pool was the reason for their choice of accommodation. They also did not communicate their feelings to me (or voice any complaints) when they were in residence and seemed quite happy and content visiting the local beaches. I always strive to keep my guests happy when they rent one of my apartments, assuring them that I am only a phone call away if they need anything or have cause for complaint. I am truly sorry that they were disappointed.

Flat was a good size, had plenty of space for eating and relaxing. The balcony was great in the mornings when the sun was on it. lt was close to many restaurants and seafront and only 10 mins in a ca… More
