We originally planned to stay in the apartment 3 days, but enjoyed the apartment and BA so much, we extended our stay to 10 days. The apartment is v. close to the subway (subte), a mini market, large grocery and many restaurants. We found it very easy to commute from the apartment to different neighborhoods by either walking or taking the subway. Alejandro is very kind and easy to work with too. He met us at the apartment, showed us how to use everything and was then available via email/phone for the remainder of our stay. We couldn't recommend the apartment enough. It's just perfect. The only thing to be aware of relates to currency. Alejandro accepts payment in Euros or US dollars only. Argentina is suffering from terrible inflation... and Alejandro does not accept the Argentine Peso. So, make sure to bring enough cash to cover the rent. |

I could not have been any happier with this apartment. The apartment is as beautiful as the photos. Everything within the apartment was high quality. Alejandro, the owner seemed to think of everything. The building felt very secure and was only accessible by double keys. I loved the neighborhood feel of the location. The subway was an easy walk, a block and a half away, and was a great way to get around the city. Taxis were available within minutes of walking outside of the apartment. I was initially reluctant to rent an apartment instead of staying in a hotel. But I am so glad that I rented this apartment. It had all of the modern comforts of home, and it enabled us to feel like we were actually living in the wonderful city of Buenos Aires. I have absolutely no complaints about this property. Alejandro was a gracious host who made sure all of our needs were met. He definitely goes the extra mile with everything regarding the apartment. If I ever return to Buenos Aires (and I hope to return), I will definitely stay at one of Alejandro's apartments. |
