This apartment is located in a small development and is fully equipped with all modern conveniences to make your stay as comfortable as possible (air conditioning, comfortable furniture, crisp linens, towels, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, kitchen ware and utensils and cable TV with more than 30 channels). It sleeps up to 6 persons and has two double bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a spacios living room with dining area and a terrace. There is also a large communal pool and a jacuzzi. A small market/grocery store is ca 150m down the road.

The property is located in Becici village, which boasts the famous Becici beach with crystal clear water, long promenade and friendly and safe atmosphere. Parasailing, waterskiing and other water sports are available nearby. Romantic waterfront restaurants offering both local and international cuisine are a short stroll away as well as luxury spa and gym facilities of hotel Splendid. The historical city of Budva with its vibrant night life and shopping is just a short taxi/bus/car ride away.

The Adriatic Coast region

There are few countries in the world where one can find so much natural wealth, beautiful beaches, clear lakes, fast rives and giant mountains in such a small area. Add to this a rich cultural and historic heritage and you can not beat Montenegro as a holiday destination. Climate in Montenegro is very complex and varies from Mediterranean at the seaside to sharp alpine in the northern part. The bathing season is from ealy May till mid November with summer temperatures around 25-30C.

To explore the country, UNESCO protected city of Kotor with suppounding fjords, national park Lovcen and magnificent lake Skadar (the largest in the Balkan peninsula) are within 30 min drive. For more adventure, head to the mountain region and national park Durmitor with its lakes, rivers, canyons, forests and wildlife. Notably, Tara Canyon is the second longest canyon in the world following Colourado Canyon. Durmitor is ca 3 hour drive from the coast. Excursions including water rafting and mountain walking can be organised through local tour operators, i.e. Travel Centre Budva at www.tc-montenegro.com and Adriatic Express at www.adriaex.cg.yu.

Budva Riviera / Becici area

The Budva Riviera is a wonderful stretch of coast with great beaches, green hills and fishing villages. Becici village is conveniently located close to the historic city of Budva and the Mediterranean jewel Sveti Stefan. A five star spa and gym complex at hotel Splendid is a short walk away. For a romantic or a family dinner, a short stroll along the beach to a nearby village, Rafaelovici, is highly recommended. Our favourite is a restaurant “Tre ribara” (“Three fishermen”) which serves excellent fish dishes and other local specialties. For late night clubbing, head to Budva with its bars and outdoor discotheques. The atmosphere is buzzing and very friendly. The local taxis are safe, cheap, equipped with meters and easily available. There is an option of a 20 min walk back to Becici along the beach promenade as well. Budva also has a thriving cultural life with a number of mega stars making their way to perform there: Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz and now Madonna. The concert is on 25 September and is part of Sticky & Sweet Tour.

How to get there

The area is well-served by major international and local airlines. Direct flights from London Gatwick to Tivat (the closest airport, ca 20 min drive from Budva) are available on Wednesdays and Sundays with Montenegro airlines. There are daily British Airways flights from UK to Dubrovnik (ca 1.5 hour drive to Budva either by taxi (ca 100 EUR) or by rental car). Montenegro's capital, Podgorica (ca 1-1.5 hour drive from Budva), has good connections with all major European cities. A taxi from Podgorica to Budva costs ca 60 EUR.

Deposit to confirm the booking is 20% of total amount (minimum £100). It is refundable if the cancellation occur at least 4 weeks before the arrival date. Payment is in advance, 4 weeks before the arrival date. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks in advance, the full amount is required to confirm the booking. A security deposit of £100 is payable on arrival. It is refundable on departure subject to final inventory and to returning the keys.

Christmas period (15 December to 15 January) is considered 'high season' and is charged according to the 'high season' rates.
