The nearest beach is just a 5 minutes car journey away in Salema or alternatively take advantage of the free bus service to Parque Da Floresta's own beach bar The Blue Wave.

The Algarve region
Beautiful all year round climate, hotter in July and August but often accompanied with a breeze. Parque Da Floresta is situated on the edge of a Nature Reserve in the wonderful unspoilt Western Algarve. There are loads of terrific beaches within minutes of this 5* resort. The villages which surround this family resort have wonderful little restaurants and beach bars offering the freshest fish together with all the other family favourites.
Lagos is a busy mainly pedestrianised town briming with restaurants, shops and bars, it is only approximately 15 minutes away. The marina is in Lagos where daily fishing trips and sightseeing trips can be arranged, there are also boat trips out to spot the dolphins which frequent this coast line.
Budens / Parque da Floresta area
Budens is a small village but provides good local facilities, a supermarket, bakery and a couple of very friendly restaurants.
Salema is just a stones throw from Parque Da Floresta where the sand is golden, the sea is refreshing, the beach bars are superb and the cocktails in the Atabua bar are a must!!!!
Parque Da Floresta is a 5* family resort. During the high season there is a children's club and a football academy in operation to keep the children entertained while the adults take time out to play golf, tennis, bowls or just relax around the pool or in the spa.
How to get there
Flights to Faro airport operate daily from the UK by Monarch, Jet2, Easyjet.
Most major car hire companies are based at the airport together with local very competatively price companies.
