There are beautiful sandy beaches (Salema is just a 5 min. drive) with excellent fish restaurants. Nearby there are also dramatic surfing beaches for the more athletic!
The picturesque town of Lagos is just a short drive away, good for shopping, restaurants and bars. There is also a lively marina with daily boat excursions.
How to get there
Flights to Faro operate on a daily basis by Monarch Schedule. Other operators include, First Choice, Jet2, Easyjet, and Excel Air, all at competative prices.
Major car hire companies including exceptional local ones, are located at the airport, where collection and drop off can be arranged .
