Hockins is a beautiful Grade II listed townhouse tucked away in the heart of this ancient market town, 800 yards from the church. A short stroll from the village store, two public houses - The Tree Inn and restaurant (famous for the last Cornish giant Anthony Payne who was born there in 1610) and the Kings Arms. Bude, which has been welcoming visitors since Victorian times. 1 1/2 miles away are Budes stunning surfing beaches. There are numerous attractions for you to enjoy in Bude including an 18 hole golf course and indoor leisure centre. The area abounds with watersports, horse riding, fishing and fine walks along the coastal paths and headlands. Hockins makes a cosy place to stay from which to explore this diverse and popular location.
The accommodation which is set over three floors oozes loads of charm and character comprising of a dining room and kitchen with range cooker on the ground floor. Cosy lounge overlooking the garden, one twin bedroom (bunk beds) and bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms (tjhe main with a double bed and the second with a double and single bed).
There is a delightful cottage garden totally secluded and enclosed. Lawned with paved patio for al fresco dining and barbecues.

Can provide cot, highchair and stair gates if required.
Central-heating, linen and bath towels and utilities are all included in the price.
Please note that cot linen and beach towels are not provided.

The Bude / Stratton, Bude area
A special unspoilt place "where the coast meets countryside", Bude is Cornwall's most northern town and has been a popular seaside resort since the Victorian times. .
The pretty fishing villages of Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow (with Rick Steins restaurants) are only a short drive and this breathtaking coastline boasts many unspoilt beaches and hidden coves.Children will love the sandy beaches and the area is a must for walkers, watersports and sailing enthusiasts and fisherman. Ten pin bowling, and indoor splash pool are all on offer. The internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed.
