Beachmodern's BUDE HOUSE sleeps 10 and provides modern spacious holiday accommodation. Walk to beaches in 5 minutes. Set in an incredibly convenient, yet quiet, central Bude location. Beautiful modern, minimal contemporary interior, wonderful house for beach holidays with family and friends.

Bude House has a large reception room with doors opening onto to a deck and 100ft lawned garden (approx.)
5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, separate W.C., a modern black granite and white gloss kitchen separate dining area in living room, and doors opening onto the deck and rear garden.
White walls and wooden floorboards throughout.
Ideal family accommodation for a great summer holiday by the sea all year round.

Bude has been one of Cornwall’s most sought after beach resorts for many years. This charming Victorian seaside town with it’s enormous outside sea pool has breathtaking scenery and beaches stretching for miles.
Great local seafood restaurants and clifftop walks that offer some of the best views in the world are just around the corner.

Surf to rival the most courageous and safe sandy beaches for the less wild at heart, lots of activities from crazy golf to clay pigeon shooting and sea kayaking to deep sea fishing are all available locally.

“Beautiful house, brilliant location for beaches and town, fantastic family holiday” We stayed in Bude House for two weeks at Easter and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is modern, very spacious, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the open plan kitchen and breakfast area and made the most of sitting out on the decking relaxing whilst the children played in the garden. Our teenage son particularly liked his room on the top floor with it's shower. I loved walking into the beautiful town which is literally at the end of the road. There are plenty of mini circular walks that are very manageable for the children. We walked to the canal and wharf which are so beautiful and right next to the spectacular beach. We've been to Bude lots of times and enjoy eating at The Castle and River Life Bistro which has a new Tapas Bar. All are child friendly and we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. We love Bude and are coming back to Bude House in September, can't wait!

“Perfect seaside retreat” This house is immaculately presented in a convenient location. The agent was helpful and we had a lovely holiday. It is modern inside and the garden with the large deck was really great for alfresco dining. Only a short walk to the town of Bude which is quaint and picturesque with huge sandy beaches and lots of Cornish pubs!! Would recommend this property to family and friends.

“Potenially lovely house. Its saving grace - Location.” Having been on several of these holidays where we have hired a house, this has to be the most disappointing. When arrving in Cornwall we contacted the number provided on booking to arrange colelction of keys. It took over half a day to get hold of someone. It transpired that we were supposed to recieve confirmation of key collection before our arrival. This never happened. From the moment we arrived and noticed the damp mouldy living room which was not a cosy room. There seem to be no welcome pack. Previous holiday rentals have provided welcome packs with a comments book and local contact details. Directions for local supermarkets?? When do we put the bins out? When searching we found a very old bit of paper which instructed us to recycle using the coloured sacks under the sinks and put the rubbish out on a Wednesday.. Turned out it was a Monday... Also no recycle sacks under the sink. Along with the lack of home furnishings made for a very unwelcoming start to the property. The table does not seat 10 people comfortably... its very squished. The room is very bare, its odd that there are no books, games and pictures as we have experienced in other holiday rentals of this 'standard' The kitchen is nice, however was let down by the dirty oven. Along with a lack of cups, mugs, glasses and standard kitchen implements we found several saucepans and a wok which was not useable. These had to be replaced due to the state of them. Not many serving dishes. On looking for the washing machine on our first day we found mountains of rubbish and empty bottles from the previous rental, we asked for these to be removed. Someone did come the next day but all the rubbish was never taken away which made it very smelly and unpleasant to go in the outhouse. The cupboard where the hoover and broom is kept is an absolute state... how anyone is supposed to get anything out of there... The bedrooms are clean and simple, but there seems to be a lack of mirrors in sensible places - i.e. above a chest of drawers?! Also we were provided with towels but no hand towels for the bathroom and also it would be nice if you could provide soap? Small things like this really make your holiday that bit nicer. We were also asked if one of the beds could be changed over during our stay. Why this couldn't be done on changeover day? I am not one for moaning but due to the amount of money paid for this rental I feel these comments need to be made. Overall we had a great holiday in Bude, mainly due to the fact that we didn't spend alot of time in the house. It's not surprising that a comments book isn't provided... It wouldn't make good reading! This has put us off returning to one of your properties next year.
