The Barn is an exceptionally comfortable, detached 3-bedroom single-storey holiday home. We believe it was built around 1871 and converted from the farm-milking parlour in 1982. This now offers an exceptionally comfortable and character full accommodation with the lounge having a vaulted ceiling and curved wall, with exposed roof timbers and beams. There is a log-burning stove on a slate hearth, all of which should be seen to be appreciated.
The Barn forms one side of an attractive courtyard of barn conversions; set back from a small road through the hamlet over the village green.
The Barn has its own seating area, great for alfresco dining, BBQs or just to bask in the fresh air.
Unlike many other holiday homes The Barn offers an adjoining good-sized garage - with dart board, washing machine/dryer with an additional allocated parking space just outside the courtyard. Ample space for the children and dogs to play out.

The Barn can sleep up to five people with it's Double Room, Twin Room and Single Room, offering ample space in an exceptionally comfortable and character full accommodation. This is a self-catering holiday cottage and the the Rental Fee is all-inclusive of Gas, Electricity, Linen and Towels.

The living room has comfortable furnishings - large curved sofa with reclining option, electric reclining chair, colour television, video and radio. There's also a few books and board games (for those rainy days).
The kitchen has a full-size electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, 4-slice toaster and all the utensils and crockery you are likely to need during your stay.
The accommodation offers an attractive, tiled bathroom with power shower and bath.

The West Country region
The rural hamlet of Rosecare offers a peaceful haven. It's approximately one mile from the A39 on the coastal side and lies approximately 1-½ miles North of the Cornish village Crackington Haven; offering a beach and dramatic coastal walks. There's a pub and cafes there so why not watch the sun go down with a tipple. (Dogs aren't allowed between Easter and end of September)
The seaside town Bude offers two large sandy beaches (one of which - summerleaze, is dog friendly) There's even a sea filled pool on the cliff side just a tip toe away from the sea - it's fantastic. The pool and beaches are patrolled by lifeguards whom have a great presence and so allow parents to relax that little bit more. There's so much to do in Bude whether it's browsing the shops, learning to surf at the surf school, horseriding over the cliffs, hiring out a boat along the river, crazy golf, tennis court, or just pottering around the cafes having a Cornish Cream Tea along the way.
Other unmissable towns to visit are Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Issac (great for those who love fresh seafood).
There's so many beaches and beauty spots to visit too, Duckpool, Sandymouth, Trebarwith and Widemouth bay (great for surfers/bodyboarders/sunbathers)
Don't forget the Eden Project! It's a Must Visit.

"Excellent budget stay"
We have stayed in the Barn 3 nights with couple of friends. The cottage is very well equipped in quiet location. It can get a bit cold inside but electric heater and electric blankets in each bed made… More
