The Rowans has four bedrooms, two doubles and two twins, perfect for two small families sharing. The house is located in a quiet area and is only a few minutes walk to the beach and town centre. The house has an open plan, well equipped kitchen/diner with black gloss, granite, oak and an american fridge/freezer with an ice machine. The lounge area has two deep leather sofas and a flatscreen TV/DVD. The Rowans also has its own mini-gym! (treadmill, free weights and Swiss ball). There is private parking for two vehicles, and a lovely private garden with a raised deck patio and garden furniture. The garden also has a pond, seating and a top of the range gas barbeque. Located just ten minutes walk from Bude town centre and beaches, and a short stroll from the leisure centre and indoor swimming pool. Lovely!

This gorgeous conversion is just perfect for holiday letting, with a grand open plan space with island kitchen containing top quality appliances and equipment, dining area with patio doors out to the raised deck, and gorgeous lounge with large leather sofas, Freeview TV and DVD, and a sound system including iPod connectivity. There are four bedrooms of which two are doubles (one with en suite shower and TV/CD player) and two are twins. The shower room has a double corner shower and heated towel rail. Everthing is perfectly set up to make your holiday easy and luxurious. Fabulous!

There's a top quality gas barbecue, garden furniture, a lovely pond, a timber trail, an arbour and a hammock to give you all the options for rest and relaxation! Within an easy walk of Bude canal walk and nature reserve, sandy beaches, bars, restaurants and great leisure facilities. The Rowans is ideally located for making the most of all that Bude has to offer.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall is in the South West of England and offers rugged coastlines offering over 125 beaches popular for surfers and families. There are moorlands such as Dartmoor and its famous prison, lakes and rivers. Cornwall is renowned for its historic buildings including The Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount and Restormel Castle are just a few examples.
The steep climb up English Heritage’s stone staircase at Tintagel is worth every step - the island offers breathtaking views and some remaining walls of King Arthur’s castle, where the Knights of the Round Table once met. Boscastle is just a few miles from Tintagel an idyllic village with craft shops and museums, a truly impressive walk to the natural harbour lined with colossal cliffs.Cornwall is a true gem and not to be missed!
The Bude area
Bude is a haven for surfing for both the experienced or novice. Alternatively you can enjoy the sandy and rocky coves. The Town is busy with its restaurants, bars , various shops not to forget the pasty shops! A small but busy Town with a canal-running by meeting at the River Neet. At the famous lock gate here you have the perfect vantage point to appreciate the beautiful sandy beach at Summerleaze with its infamous natural sea pool.
Children from generations have learned to swim here. Beyond this lovely place there is even more to enjoy with Crackington Haven, Boscastle and Clovelly all only a short drive away. For places of Historical interest Tintagel is also nearby . The Eden project is less than an hours drive away now as a live entertainment venue as well being an amazing experience with its ecosystems. I could just go on and on so I would just suggest a visit!

Lovely bright airy house with large comfortable rooms and lovely big comfy sofas in the lounge. Gorgeous gardens and plenty of outdoor furniture on the decking. Loads of dvds and games available as well as a very good internet connection. All of this in an excellent location - 5 mins drive to a major supermarket, splash pool and bowling centre in one direction and Bude town centre in the other. Only minus points - the treadmill in the gym wasn't working so that was a bit disappointing - recommend contacting the owners before - no toilet in the en-suite, the patio doors are very difficult to lock and unlock and there is a very steep driveway to park in. This being said I would definately recommend this gorgeous house for a very comfortable relaxing break. |
