From the owner

3 bed (sleeps max 8) Grade II listed home in pretty location on Bude canal. Short, level walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Large modern kitchen/diner, large sitting room with football table and separate TV, wii and games, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Large deck over looking the canal. Use of our rowing boat & two kayaks, patio to rear of house, WiFi, 4 smart TVs. Parking for 2 cars in private car park. The location is tucked away yet only a few minutes level walk to beaches, restaurants, town centre and cliff top walks. The nearby Summerleaze and Crocklets beaches are popular with families and surfers. Beaches offer long stretches of sand and plenty of rock pools to explore. The Town Centre has many independently owned gift and clothes shops as well as chain stores and 3 supermarkets. Bude has an excellent golf course, tennis courts and many other outdoor facilities. There is also an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley and large ball park for younger children.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bridget (the owner) a message.

If Bridget (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
