Olde Coach House nr Bude
Barn | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
Set in a lovely tranquil rural setting, this wing of a former Coach House built in 1907, converted in 2001, has beamed ceilings, some original scattered high and low windows, balcony, enclosed garden and spectacular views of patchwork fields that lead to the sea two miles away.
The Olde Coach House is in the middle of a courtyard of two other barns (Wagoners and Stable Barn), it has an upside down layout with three bedrooms on the ground floor. The twin bedroom has patio doors which lead out to the enclosed garden which provides a safe playing area for younger children. Additionally, there is a communal play area with swings and a trampoline opposite the barn.
On the first floor the open plan sitting room has wonderful original chunky beams and patio doors that open onto a large decked balcony with a table and seating for all to enjoy the breathtaking countryside and sea vista. The location affords low levels of light pollution, the balcony is a perfect platform to gaze up at the spectacular array of stars at night.
There is also a twin bedroom beside the bathroom on the first floor.
