Ground floor: Lounge/dining room, kitchen with tiled floor.
Open tread stairs to first floor: 2 single beds, bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet & basin. Narrow, steep stairs to second floor: 1 double bedroom with 5ft sleigh bed and further bathroom with Jacuzzi bath sink and toilet.

Services: Woodburning stove. GFCH. First basket of fuel for stove, gas, power & bed linen (duvets) inc. Remainder fuel for stove available locally. Towel hire, DVD player, gas cooker, Microwave, Washing machine, Small furnished sitting out area, One dog welcome, No children under 5

This cottage has a bedroom with two single beds, suitable for adults and a bedroom with a 5' sleigh type bed. The property is over 3 floors with steep stairs hence not suitable for children under 5 who are walking.

Further details outdoors:
Parking in the road outside plus additional free parking in the village car park 2 mins walk away. Two fantastic pubs minutes walk from the property in the village of Stratton, The Tree Inn and The Kings Arms both do excellent home made food.

The West Country / Cornwall region

This south west county enjoys a milder climate than much of England, and consequently Cornwall has long been a popular all year round self catering holiday getaway. The North Cornwall area provides the best surfing in England, with towns like Newquay, Perranporth, Polzeath, St Ives and Bude filling with enthusiasts every year. There is excellent walking on Bodmin Moor, domain of the legendary beast, and the coastline is wild and beautiful.

There are scenic towns such as Penzance to explore and delicious Cornish pasties to sample. Cornwall also has Celtic links and the legend of King Arthur which can be explored at Tintagle’s castle. If you fancy something a little more refined, the fishing port of Padstow offers the famous seafood restaurant run by chef Rick Stein.

The Bude area

The bustling resort of Bude is nearby with shops and restaurants and nearest beach 1½ miles. Historical villages such as Tintagel, Boscastle and Clovelly wthin easy reach. Fishing, golf and horse riding available nearby. Eden Project approx 45 minutes. Bude & North Cornwall golf club only 5 minutes away. Ideal for exploring both North Devon and Cornwall. Shop 800 yards, pub and restaurants 200 yards.
