The walled rear garden is a real sun trap and there is a patio area with Delabole flag stone floors, outside lighting as well as a grassed area making this a perfect garden to enjoy. The main sitting room is equipped with television, DVD player and Sky.
There is an additional sitting room/snug room with TV and PlayStation 3 console, Blue Ray DVD and is ideal for children to have their own space and leave the grown-ups to the peace and quiet of their own sitting room – read the book you have been promising yourself you will do, watch a film, read the papers or just chat amiably and enjoy the views over the golf course.

The king sized, en suite with bath and shower, master bedroom has far reaching views over the golf course and to the sea with a door to the balcony – perfect for sitting with an early morning cup of coffee or pre dinner drink to take in the views. A further king sized bedroom is en suite and there is a family bathroom all with Heritage bathroom fittings. Natural travertine stone flooring complements the bath and shower rooms which are all equipped to the highest standard. The single beds in the twin room are 2ft 6in so are really only suitable for children - or smaller adults!
With Sky package and Wi-Fi you can stay connected (if you want to) and the house exudes peace and tranquillity – perfect for de-stressing and unwinding. Walk into Bude town to visit one of the excellent local restaurants, surf the waves, take a coastal walk and later watch the sun set on Crooklets beach; have a drink in one of the friendly local hostelries and stroll back to the comfort of your home for a meal cooked in the gloriously appointed kitchen.

The West Country region
The North Cornwall coast is a very popular destination for those looking for the spectacular scenery on offer and the superb, many very secluded, beaches that this area has.
A terrific place for peace and tranquillity as well as breathtaking walks - with Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor very close by. Many places of historic interest to visit such as Lanyhdrock House, Tintagel Castle, the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan all within a reasonable drive of our house.
Bude offers good shopping, a good array of restaurants and pubs. Splash swimming pool has a flume and health suite, and there is a leisure complex for bowling and indoor play. Boats can be hired on Bude canal and there is windsurfing, sailing, kayaking (either just hire or book lessons) at Lower Tamar Lake.
We have an arrangement with the local Links course, Bude and North Cornwall, for our guests and there are good courses at nearby Holsworthy, St Enedoc and the Jack Nicklaus designed St Mellion.
Widemouth Bay is considered one of the best surfing beaches in the area and we can arrange lessons for beginners and improvers. Bude has two superb beaches, Summerleaze and Crooklets, both ideal for bathing and surfing and Bude has one of the few remaining sea pools in the country which is perfect for youngsters when the waves are a little fierce. Lifeguards patrol most beaches and the pool throughout the summer months. There are outdoor pursuit centres nearby, tennis, squash, horse riding, bowls and a gym in the town.
There are many National Trust properties nearby; Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Arlington Court and The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are about and hour and a half in the car. Morwellham Quay is a great insight into a Victorian harbour and how it worked and there are many other attractions as well as the fantastic scenery and coastal activities on offer.

"Tempted to keep this a secret"
My instinct is too say it was a terrible holiday and keep this lovely house a secret!!
On arrival it looks like just another semi detached house on the street, but the palm tree out front is a good hint to what you will find inside.
We took our four children, and each brought at least one friend/partner with. 11 of us in the house and everyone had space - it never felt crowded.
Preparing meals in the magnificent kitchen was never a chore and serving them either in the extended kitchen or on the patio was the perfect holiday setting.
The separate sitting rooms meant all ages could have their own space to play, read or watch tv and the bedrooms were perfect for the extended family. The beds were more than comfortable and the linen supplied was beautiful. Everything was spotless on arrival and looked pristine.
The house is easy walking distance from the beach, shops and local sites - we had long walks on the cliff tops, visits to town and beach days. In April!!
Bude is also easy to reach and easy to travel to/from. Most travelled by car, but two kids came on the train from London and returned by bus / train.
We visited Tintagel, Bodmin and Land's End on day trips out, and even hired bikes for a lovely cycle ride to Padstow.
Overall - a wonderful house, in a great location with great facilities and perfect for a large family or several families to share. Don't miss it!!

"Top quality boutique style house in Bude"

Surfside is an exceptional property which met all our expectations.
As soon as we walked in we immediately felt at home.
The large extension at the rear is excellent, with large glazed doors opening to the adjacent decking, which we found to be a real suntrap.
All bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were cleaned to a high standard.
The property is ideally situated to walk to both the beach and town.
We would 100% recommend Surfside and would like to thank Nick at Elite West for finding this property for us.

"Beautiful house, excellent location, great value for money!"
Spent a great bank holiday weekend at Surfside in Bude, which didn't disappoint. The house itself is in a great location, a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Bude, 5 minutes walk to a decent sized Sainsbury's and 5 minutes from Crooklets beach with views over the golf course. The good size and very well appointed kitchen opens directly into a suntrap of a garden in the back (complete with BBQ and a big table perfect for lazing around and socialising) - not huge but enough space for little ones to play without adults worrying.
The rest of the house is equally as nicely decorated and stocked, two separate living rooms downstairs (each with TV, one with PS3), washer, drier etc. All double bedrooms are a good size, with two en-suite (including a freestanding bath). The bunk bed room comfortably took four twenty-somethings, whilst the smallest room has two small single beds (which Nick, the agent, was kind enough to warn us about several times before we had booked or paid for the property). Whilst they are on the small size, they didn't prove difficult to get a good night's sleep in for two adults and certainly shouldn't be a problem for teenagers or smaller children – outdoors pretty much all the time anyway! All beds were comfortable with soft linen and fluffy pillows – as a general point the property was spotlessly clean when we arrived.
The service from Nick throughout was exemplary and made the whole process much easier than on some previous rentals that I have done. The information pack provided threw up some things to get us thinking before we arrived and there is a bigger information pack in the house on arrival. Nick was very willing to facilitate our arrival and departure, which was a great touch and, although we had no problems at the house, I'm sure anything that did happen would have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to a group of friends (like us) or a more family-orientated group. Great value for money for such a lovely house and with service to match. 9/10.
