On the North Cornwall Devon border, the chalets are set in woodland valley surrounded by rich farmland, with Sandymouth beach only 2 miles. Chalet is fully equipped with new kitchen and bathroom, offering you and your family the comfortable coastal holiday home experience at a reasonable price. Chalet is southfacing with an outside picnic/BBQ area. Take advantage of the area to relax: explore or take part in the many sports and leisure activities nearby. The traditional seaside town of Bude is only 5 miles. Built around its working harbour, castle, river and canal Bude has a good balance of the original character whilst offering the requirements of the modern tourist. The original Castle and grounds contains the Bude Light: the canal and river restored within a newly established nature reserve: two large sandy beaches with an original sea pool and natural sand dunes area all with easy level access from the car park. However also offers a modern indoor pool with flume and wave machine: indoor play area: small local seaside shops along side national supermarkets and a variety of local pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Travelling by car take the M5 motorway leaving at junction 27 for Tiverton and take the North Devon Link A361 and continue along the A39 from Barnstaple down to Kilkhampton village. Penstowe Manor will be found on your right (after the school) there are flags at the main gate. A site map will be sent to you for your chosen chalet. EX23 IS THE POSTCODE

We had a great half term break 4 nights chalet was very clean,had everything that was needed it was warm on those wet/cold nights,we took our labradore with us lots of great walks within the park the walk to the village is great to,we would and are planning to return for another break, Only downside the indoor swimming pool was a let down it was cold where it was meant to be 29 degrees to pay £14 for a family ticket i complained and got the next day swim free but it was still very cold but over all we loves HILLSIDE 2 |
