Acorn Barn is one of the 5 Helscott Barn complex, a spacious semi detached cottage with two bedrooms ,the master bedroom has a canopied double pine bed and cream furnishings,the second bedroom is furnished with full sized bunk beds,the large entrance hall leads to the bedrooms on the left with the bathroom complete with bath and separate shower ahead of you and the vaulted living area on the right.This spacious open plan space (25' x 18') has a solid oak kitchen area with painted dining table and chairs at one end and a large oak desk for writing your post cards next to a set of french doors.The massive coffee table ,originally an elephants saddle,has more than enough space for all your books and drinks whilst the corner sofa converts to a double bed if required , the antique leather armchair is ideal for curling up in with a book or drink.As this property is all on one level with wide doorways it may suit those with limited mobility,the open plan living is ideal for children and pets.
The french doors leading to the outside take you to the private garden with picnic table with views over to the spring fed wildlife pond, there is a 2 acre paddock directly behind,ideal for picnics,games and enjoying the view.Please note Friday start in peak season on this cottage and short breaks available.
