The West Country region

In the last decade Cornwall has emerged as one of the world's iconic destinations. From the dramatic coastline of the north to the sheltered bays in the south, from ancient moorland to soft river estuaries, surfers, walkers, sailing buffs, gastronauts and visitors simply seeking a break from a hectic world have discovered a fascinating, vibrant culture, first class accommodation, food to die for and a naturally thrilling adventure playground

Bude has been welcoming visitors since Victorian times. On the surface, Bude is a family-orientated seaside resort. The sea surges onto the clean sandy beaches towards the rugged coastline and towering cliffs. Bude also has some of the best surfing in the world alongside swimming and a whole host of water-based activities.

Not for you then how about sea or canal fishing or cycling on one of the many tracks It doesn’t take long to discover that Bude is possibly more diverse than any other holiday destination in Cornwall

"Beautiful cottage with beautiful views."

The upside down cottage was more than comfortable for my family, home from home. Only a 5 min drive from the beach plus a large area on site for the children to run around on and play games. The owners were also more than helpful to assist when making the booking and any other questions that I needed answering.

"A lovely relaxing place to stay, comfortable and great views"

We loved our stay in The Granary, it was exactly as described. The accommodation is all you need in a holiday cottage, clean, comfortable and an ideal spot to relax in great surroundings. Enough space for our family of 4 with grown up sons. Plenty of ammenities nearby, yet set in coutryside surroundings. John & Yvonne get it right as the owners - welcoming and helpful, on hand if needed but not overbearing. The whole cluster of cottages are lovely, unique and characterful, each with it's own space, but close enough if a larger group wanted to be there together. Would definately go again.
