Large luxury seaside holiday house in Bude. 5 minutes walk to huge sandy beaches at Crooklets and Summerleaze. Self Catering and can also provide a private chef.
This funky, modern, Victorian Merchants house with a contemporary interior style is only a moments walk to Bude’s beaches, links golf course, independent boutiques and restaurants which means there’s no need to use your car once you have arrived. No. 28 is perfect for large family groups, hen parties and stag weekends, this fantastic house has loads of space and is really gorgeous inside. We’ve decorated it in a minimalist style with stainless steel and oak, white walls and sanded floorboards. There are two Iarge living rooms, open fires and high ceilings, eight bedrooms and three bathrooms and two gardens and a BBQ area outside.
This large contemporary beach house is opposite Bude’s Links Golf and has huge views towards the cliffs and stunning coastline of North Cornwall. It’s so close to the beach that when the tide is high and the surf is big you can hear the waves breaking from every room in the house. We can help you arrange surf lessons, mountain boarding, tank driving, drum lessons, horse riding and private dining.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall with is glorious beaches and and mile upon mile of stunning coastline is a perfect seaside holiday destination and offers up some of the best surfing in the country. Alternatively, Cornwall has excellent coastal paths for walkers along some of Britain’s most scenic cliff tops. Great restaurants overlooking the Bude Bay, fantastic surfing, long sandy beaches ideal for children, lots of pubs and great bar food. Quiet nightlife (Bude is Much smaller than Newquay).
Cornwall offers a range of infamous eateries and galleries. (Including, Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen, Bangors Organic, the Tate St. Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Gallery)

When you stay with Beachmodern at No. 28 you’ll discover that Bude has 10 town beaches (most of which are Lifeguarded) and all of which are nearby: Duckpool, Sandymouth, Northcott Mouth, Crooklets, Summerleaze (also has a Vicotorian Lido), Upton, Widemouth Bay, Black Rock, Millook, with it’s famous geological interest and Crackington Haven are all really close to Beachmodern’s No. 28 and surf lessons can be arranged with the former British and European surf champion via Beachmodern. Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant (Beachmodern can arrange a private dining room for up to 16 guests) and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen are only a 45 minute drive, Bangors Organic is only a 10 minute drive where private dining can be arranged for up to 14 guests to sample home grown, home cooked meals. Transport available. P.O.A. The amazing Eden Project and Plymouth Aquarium are only an hours drive from No. 28. Tintagel (the home of the legendary King Arthur) and the picturesque harbour village of Boscastle are only a 20 minute drive South. There are loads of really lovely places to visit locally with experiences ranging from tranquil to adrenalin packed and low key organic restaurants to the buzz of the famous eating establishments. How to get there
Traveling by car from London takes around 4 hours depending on the traffic its about 378 kilometers away from the centre of London, and is within easy access of the A4, M4 and A34 roads heading into Cornwall.
There are excellent train services from Paddington to Exeter St David’s (2.5hrs) and flying from Stanstead to Newquay Airport takes approx. 45 mins. Collection can be arranged at Airports and Train stations.

The interior of No. 28 is decorated in a modern minimalist style with stripped floor boards and white walls with colour added by the soft furnishings and artworks which are available to buy.
We can provide an in-house private chef or arrange for private dining in the nearby acclaimed organic restaurant, babysitters and surf lessons can all be arranged. We are local and we know the area extremely well.

No. 28 offers a front paved south facing garden plus, rear enclosed lawned garden with patio and large gas BBQ.
There is no need to use your car once you've arrived.
The Bude Links Golf Course is only a two minutes walk away from No. 28 which overlooks the golf course offering impressive uninterrupted views.

Hiring Beachmodern's private Chef is subject to availabillty. Our babysitter is fully registered and Police checked. Please give one weeks advance notice for bookings. Private dining can be arranged locally as can Taxi hire.
