Coachman's cottage is ideally situated on the North Cornwall/Devon border, close to Cornish villages such as Boscastle and Tintagel. Close by is the rugged coastline of Hartland and the village of Clovelly. Within a short 10 minute drive are the amazing surfing beaches of Widemouth and Bude, close enough to enjoy, but this cottage is located away from the business of the town. We have parking for 2 vehicles in a gated driveway which is located in front of the property. The property is located opposite a dairy farm and offers a pretty garden, a barbeque area and outdoor furniture. The cottage has a 42 inch flat screen television, a music station and a selection of C.D's and D.V.D's. Fishing and Golf are within easy reach.

Bude is a great destination for families. It is possible to not spend alot of money on days out as the obvious attractions are the lovely sandy beaches, which are life-guarded in the main visitor season - offering opportunities for swimming and paddling: to crabbing in the rock pools, scrambling over the rocks and sandy picnics and ice-creams.

The Splash swimming pool is great if the weather takes a turn for the worst! There is a large pool, with a flume and wave machine and the beach style shallows are great for toddlers. We also have Harlequinns which has a play zone, ten-pin bowling alley, cafe and bar.

We have villages such as Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Clovelly close by and attractions such as the Milky Way, Newquay zoo, Lundy Island and Marine nature reserve, Trethorne Leisure Park, Hidden Valley - Launceston, Hartland Abbey and Gardens, Gnome Reserve and Wild Flower Garden, Bude Canal, Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park, Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay, Eden Project, Rebel Cinema and the Otter Park Launceston is well worth a visit with wild Wallabies and Giant Rabbits to see!
