The Central Hungary/Danube region

It has a complex identity, somewhere between Western luxury and simple traditions.

District VI has thriving cultural life. Andrássy Avenue is Budapest's Broadway with the Opera House, Liszt Ferenc Music Academy . The Avenue also abounds in fine places of entertainment, great restaurants, cafés and bars. It's a place where you can go for a leisurely walk along the sycamore lined avenue, view the magnificent architectural masterpieces, sit in a café on Liszt Ferenc tér and contemplate the busy street life around you or stroll around Kiraly utca and its trendy stores. Nyugati Train Station and the bustling square in front of it is in the northern corner of District VI. Other public transport services include trams No 4 and 6 (Oktogon and Nyugati tér stops). M3 metroline has a station at Nyugati tér too. Continental Europe's first underground, the M1 or yellow metro line travels along Andrássy Avenue (Oktogon stop).
How to get there
We can provide a private car service from and back the airport at 5.000 huf , approx 22 euro, max 4 people, payment directly to the driver. He's english speaking and available also for tours in and around Budapest.
We are near the subway stop Oktogon.
From the airport, terminal1, there is a frequent train connection to Nyugati Station.

I stayed at the beautiful Erzsebet Suite Royal Apartments for four nights and absolutely loved it! The apartment was immaculantly clean, very comfortable,and a very stylish blend of Hungarian and Italian design. A fully fitted gourmet kitchen with an espresso machine, a wonderful,deep tub in the second bathroom, and beautiful beds were little touches that made this apartment seem like a home for this traveler in Budapest. The leasing agent Mr David Pinter was very kind and even arrived early since I arrived early in order to help me with my bags and check me in. This was much appeciated. Thank you so much!
