The Central Hungary/Danube region
The apartment has the added advantage of being situated in the most central part of downtown Budapest, within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The Gellert Hill, Citadel and Elizabeth Bridge is directly across from your window. To the right you will see the famous Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. To the left you will see the Gellert Hotel, famous for its medicinal baths.
Budapest / District 5 area
Outside your front door you can take a stroll along banks of the Danube. The famous Vaci Utca main shopping and pedestrianised street is just 100 meters away. There's a 24 hour shop around corner in Iranyi street. Cross the road from your front door for the Number 2 tram . This tram is the essential 'tourist' tram because it runs along the Danube from Margit Hid to Szabadsag hid - the length of the 5th district. This gives you easy access to all the big city centre tourist areas and attractions.
How to get there
Ferihegy 1, Ferihegy 2/A and 2/B are about 15km away. The apartment is relatively easily accessible by public transportation. Passengers are taken by a direct bus service (bus 200) from Terminals 2 and 1, to Köbánya-Kispest metro terminal. It takes 22 minutes from terminal 2 and about 10 minutes from terminal 1 to the Metro terminal. By this 'blue’line (3) Metro from Köbánya-Kispest you can reach our stop Ferenciek Terre in the City centre in 20 minutes.
If required the agent for this apartment will provide transport from airport to apartment and back to the airport. Cost 30 Euros. Single trip 15 euro. Car hire is not necessary within the city as public transport facilities are excellent from the apartment.

1 bedroom with double bed which can be separated into 2 singles. 2 bedside lockers and lamps, CD player combined with clock/radio, built-in wardrobe with full length mirror, hairdryer.
Living Room has large comfortable sofa bed which sleeps 2, wall mounted 42" LCD TV, CD/MP3-DVD player, coffee table. Standing lamp with dimmer lights, table and 4 chairs. Electric window shutters with remote control for window overlooking Danube. Original wall paintings.
Kitchen is a beautiful cherry wood with granite worktop. Fitted with cooker, hob, fridge freezer, combined washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea pot, coffee pot, table-ware and cooking utensils, ironing board and iron.
Bathroom is en suite with corner shower, wc, washbasin and mirror, heated towel rail and water heater. Bathroom has extra door to living area to accommodate people sleeping on living room sofabed.
Further details outdoors: Looking out of your living room window it almost feels as if the Danube is flowing just for you. No need to close shutters for privacy as apartment is not overlooked.

The price includes all costs i.e. electricity, gas. Bed linen and sufficient towels are included. The apartment is fully cleaned and serviced before arrival. There are no hidden additional costs. The keys are given to you on arrival at the apartment. You will met there by an English speaking agent at a time specified by you!
