Welcome to Casa Nova Girona, a traditional, character Catalan masia, rural but not isolated, located between two villages,(2km & 3km).

Ideally situated, Girona Airport is a 10 minute drive and 10 to 15 minutes right into Girona's charming centre with easy access to Barcelona and the Costa Brava.

Spend quality time here with your family and friends in a beautiful location; a superb house for gatherings. Suits small and large groups. Flexible arrival day.

In this charming renovated house you will find all that you require for a relaxing break; modern comfort; light and space; well decorated; well appointed, a true home from home. Just arrive, relax and enjoy a supper under the fabulous outside roofed porch. Have fun in the pool, play ping pong, find a quiet corner to read, cycle, then explore Girona, Catalunya and the coast at your leisure.

Interior -

The house has generous living spaces, with comfy sofas in the sitting room; ideal for children sheltering out of the sun or an aperitif in front of an ambient winter wood burning stove. The dining room has extendable tables.

AVAILABLE - WIFI, DVD PLAYER, TV, IPOD AND MP4 DOCKING STATION.

The house has 5 comfortable flexible bedrooms with space for luggage and cots; 4 bathrooms and a seperate ground floor toilet.

BEDROOMS -

Bedroom 1 - Double + single + child bed & cot in dressing room.

Bedroom 2 - Double + child bed.

Bedroom 3 - Double.

Bedroom 4 - Bunk bed; double + single.

Bedroom 5 - Second floor. Double + single.

Additional - 2 cots, single fold down bed, day bed in bedroom 1's bathroom, small double sofa bed.

All public rooms and bedrooms are furnished with either or both free standing and ceiling fans. The first floor hall has a large ceiling fan. Bedroom 5, top floor, has A/C.

The house has central heating and constant hot water.

WE SUPPLY - bed linen, a hairdryer in each bedroom and plenty of towels: sheets and throws for the summer, duvets for the winter. We also supply beach towels for your use.

The house will have some basics such as toilet paper, shampoo, washing liquid, tea, coffee, spices etc, enough to get you started, and for stays of 7 nights or more we provide an additional welcome basket with various goodies.

KITCHEN - The kitchen is very well equipped (from coffee pots, paella pans, hand blender to cava glasses), and has a large Smeg cooker and a dining table by the front window for indoor eating.

EXTERIOR - One of the true pleasures of Casa Nova Girona is the large outside living space, the roofed porch with traditional barbecue and long tables, used all year round - it is the perfect area to relax, to enjoy summer living, a delicious barbecue, balmy nights, a long, lazy winter lunch.

The masia faces south, with open views across the fields to our cork wood and hazelnut grove. The delightful walled garden and pool enjoy the sun all day long; a true suntrap.

SECURITY - The pool area is fenced with a locking gate, so that you can relax whilst your children play in the garden.

Outwith the masia walled garden are many additional areas in which to explore, to cycle, play, the challenge of a game of boules, play ping pong, to walk or to read a book.

CHILD AND TODDLER FRIENDLY -We have a good selection of equipment available, including high chairs, booster seat, bed guards, potties, changing mats, step stool, monitor, night lights, steriliser, hand blender, toys and games, and stair guards.

DEPARTURE before 10.00 hours.

If no back to back rentals we can be flexible with arrival and departure times. We do aim to have a gap between bookings alongside our enhanced cleaning protocols, but this is not always possible, particularly with 2020 re-schedules.

Casa Nova Girona, is a private owner managed house. For your information the owners live on the estate. We can guarantee your privacy in the masia, walled garden, pool and bbq terrace areas, and noise is ok. We will meet you on arrival, show you the house then leave you to enjoy your stay in private. We are available if you need any assistance or information. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information.

Please clear the kitchen & fridges, discarding all opened food, drinks & bottles & take all your rubbish to the local recycle bins.
We are not a party house, sorry.!
Do not leave pets unattended in our house, clear up after them.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gill (the owner) a message.

If Gill (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
