This is a recently refurbished upper flat in a quiet residential street in Uphall, West Lothian. The property is accessed by one flight of external stairs.
The property is excellently situated for a Scottish holiday in the central belt. Edinburgh is approx. 20mins drive from Uphall. Glasgow is approx. 40 mins. drive from Uphall. The historic town of Linlithgow is approx. 15 mins. drive from Uphall. If you want the countryside the Trossachs with Loch Lomond are 1 hr 10 mins. and the Cairngorms 2.5 hrs. The border towns are about 1 hrs drive.
Edinburgh airport is 14 mins. away and the local train station is 4mins. drive away. We are on the direct bus route to Edinburgh with local amenities including Public bars, restaurants,pharmacy, hairdressers, a local supermarket, takeaways restaurants( Indian, Chinese, Fish and Chips), a Post Office and a few other shops. There is a large shopping centre and a Designer Outlet in Livingston (12 mins. drive away), the Falkirk Wheel is 32 mins and the iconic Forth Bridges are only 20mins. The Wallace monument of Brave heart fame is 40 mins. away with the town of Stirling at its foot.
Lots of local golf courses, leisure centres and places of interest for all the family.
A great property to use as a base for exploring. It is so close to beautiful rural locations.
It comprises of a fully fitted modern kitchen, living room with dining table, bathroom with a shower over the bath. Bedroom 1 has a King size bed, bedroom 2 is a small room with bunk beds in it, and the 3rd bedroom is on the second floor and has 2 singles that can be zipped together to form a super king size bed. This gives the option of a twin bed room. Just let us know which suits you best.
There is a 32 inch TV with free-view service, a DVD player and WiFi. The property has been decorated to a high standard throughout.
The back view from the lounge and kitchen is over gardens to mature trees and down to the stream.
Saturday is the preferred changeover day, however, we do appreciate that this is not always suitable. Please just ask and where possible, we will try to be flexible. Short breaks of three days or more are also available. Departure time is 10.30am. Arrival time is preferably 3.00pm. Again, we will try to be flexible where reasonable requests are made taking into consideration time for changeover from other guests.
The apartment has full central heating. Electricity and central heating up to £10 (over a period of a week) is included in the price. Any usage over this will be charged for.
Use of linen and towels are also included.
Ideal for bookings throughout the year. Families are welcome.

This property is an ideal setting for a quiet retreat within easy distance to Scotland's top tourist attractions. We are situated in the heart of central Scotland. A short distance to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth or Stirling make these locations and many other visitor attractions easy places to visit in a day. Lovely countryside walks and drives are only a short distance away.
Great position with out of town prices. Ideal for attending the Commonwealth Games and Edinburgh Festival.
We are located within very easy access to local public transport.
The property is just 6miles from the centre of the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow, which is steeped in history. It was the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots. The Palace and Loch are great places to visit.
The Kingdom of Fife is also a short distance away. The famous Forth Road Bridge is only 20 mins. drive from the property. The property is only 15 mins. drive from The Royal Highland Showground.
There are also ample local leisure centres and golf courses nearby.
To the outside there is private allocated parking as well as a private garden to the rear.

West Lothian is an ideal base for any holiday in the central belt of Scotland. The county has a mixture of rural and urban locations.
There is something for all the family within easy reach of the property. There are ample leisure facilities nearby and lots of shopping areas. Golf courses and fishing facilities are also very close by. The national equestrian centre is within 1 mile of the property.
Many of the big Scottish cities are within very easy reach of Uphall. This allows the visitor easy access to Theatre, Museums, galleries and all that a large city has to offer, without having to pay the big city prices for accommodation. West Lothian also boasts some fine country parks and plenty of walking opportunities for all levels.
