Perfect for family holidays! We offer villa accommodation in The Pinedes park. Other accommodation is also available- please contact us we have something for everyone! Every villa is fully equipped and comfortably furnished and all have the necessary ingredients for a faboulous holiday. Year round multilingual staff assure you are taken care of as you like it. You can explore the charente in true self-catering style, or participate in on site and nearby organised events while mingling with our international clientel.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente region
The Poitou charente offers many varied natural and cultural features. Being in the South charente, we have the added benefit at also being at the door to Aquitaine and Dordogne. Enjoy a day at the beach, another exploring the caves in Charente or Dordogne, another enjoying the fine gastronomie of Perigord and yet another amongst the vines of Cognac... We are absolutely surrounded by perfect day visit destinations.
The south Charente is known for its rolling hills of sunflowers and vines, Roman churches and ruins dating from St Jean de Compostelle, open roads and plenty of beautiful, seemingly lost villages to explore. Our little micro climate often provides sunny days even when the weather report says it should be raining, night rains in the spring and summer cool things off, keep things green and leave beautiful days for your holidays.
Brossac / Etang Vallier area
Local activites turn around nature activities and local produce. Rent bicycles, saddle your horse, borrow a llama (from the llamas of Brossac) or just lace up your shoes for hours of enjoyment trekking through the countryside on groomed paths (maps in the office!). Or, visit the local Pineau, wine and cognac producers for tastings and farm tours.
The area features many small lakes great for fishing and swimmng. Our lake "Etang Vallier" has zone for both with a lifeguard on the sandy beach in July and August. Just 4km away there is a Carp sports fishing lake for those serious about reeling in th big ones- don't forget the camera! There is even a jet ski lake 6km from us where you can rent a jet ski or a quad bike to take a tour around their lake.
On site, there are children's games organised by our trilingual activity leader as well as family fun for group barbecues, classic tournaments of pétanque and darts, theme nights (don't miss Western nights!) and more. We have a minigolf just open with a bouncy castle for the children, and challenging tricks and turns for the more experienced golfer. Kayaks are available for rental on the lake as well as radio controlled boats. Don't forget to reserve your bikes when you book so we can be sure to have your size available for your holiday (25€ per bike per week).
How to get there
New flights are available from Stansted to Angouleme just 45 minutes from Etang Vallier Resort. Other low cost lines are also convient from Poitiers, La Rochelle, Bergerac and Bordeaux.
We are located between Barbezieux and Chalais and are easily accessible from The N10 via the D731.

Further details indoors: The Charentaise model features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house sleeps 8 to 10 guests. The park offers other models as well, so if you are looking for something different don't hesitate to ask, we'll be happy to propose an alternate. Just tell us what you are looking for and we'll offer you the perfect house!
We are a self catering resort facility with full services available and friendly helpful staff. You can be as independent or as pampered as you want- just ask!
Further details outdoors: Each house is set on a large open garden plot and surrounded by park area. The villas share a large discovery pool.
Each house has its own covered terrace and parking. There are several play areas. The lake is accessible to all. There are 2 shared barbecue areas. Barbecues are allowed at each house if you desire.

We have multilingual staff always available. Off season arrivals can be arranged at any day and any time. In July and August we offer special activities, welcome drink and a welcome pack in your villa. Your villa is prepared for your arrival - no beds to make up! At the end of your stay, we take care of the cleaning for a great finish for your holiday!
Conditions
2 night minimum stays please. Certain houses are non smoking and no pets- please confirm at time of booking which you desire.
Cots, high chairs, baby baths are available for hire 5€ each for each stay. Towels are available for hire 4€ per person. Beds are made up for your arrival, make sure you let us know the composition of your group. Other than in July and August, arrivals can be any day of the week. Please schedule your arrival and departure times with us. In July and August, arrivals are on Saturdays between 4pm and 8pm and departures are on Saturdays between 8am and 10am. If you need to arrange alternate arrival times there is always a way to accommodate you!
