Ebor House is a quality terraced Victorian holiday home, with plenty of period charm and good amenities on the doorstep. The three bedrooms – a king-size double, double and twin – all have a TV with Freeview. There is a bathroom with roll-top bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC, and also an additional basin and WC. Downstairs, the welcoming farmhouse-style kitchen has a small dining area, a Belfast sink and a woodburner. There is a separate dining room with electric fire, and a utility room. There are also two sitting rooms, one of which has an open fire and doors out to the attractive garden and one with a real flame effect gas fire. There is off road parking for up to four cars (down a narrow drive). With comfortable and well equipped accommodation, and so close to the beautiful Dales and Moors, Ebor House is exceedingly well placed for enjoying a year-round Yorkshire break.

Brompton is a bustling village close to the market town of Northallerton, and is now designated a conservation area; stroll the streets lined with attractive cottages, past the stream that runs down the main street, or relax on one of the village greens before moving on to the pubs or shop for refreshments. Brompton makes a great base for enjoying both the Yorkshire Dales and also the Moors area of Yorkshire, and is even within reach of the lovely Yorkshire coast.
