Gum Paddock Country Cottage is Pet Friendly and is located approximately 9 klms from the historical mining town of Broken Hill on 300 acres of private bushland in the beautiful Barrier Ranges. The Cottage was the original Tramway Billiard Hall built in the early 1900's and has many a story to tell. It was transported to Gum Paddock making a great getaway for two and boasts the original timber flooring,
The Cottage is sympathetically decorated with "Truly a step back in time" but has all of the modern comforts to make your stay a relaxing pleasure with reverse cycle air conditioning, open fireplace,fully equipped kitchenette, front loading washing machine, full fridge -freezer,BBQ and under cover secure parking directly at your back door with magnificent sunsets and sunrises.

Gum Paddock Country Cottage is located approximately12klms from the Historical Mining Town of Broken Hill in the Barrier Ranges in Outback NSW. Broken Hill is renowned for its Mining History& Local Artists. Places to visit are:
1 The very popular "Silverton" which has been the forefront of the many Commercials and Movies shot in and around the area including "Mad Max" in the popular Mundie Mundie Plains. Visit the Silverton Museum, The Old School and The Old Jail.
2 Menindee and the Darling River. Copi Hollow which is a man made and very popular family boating & skiing lake is just a short distance from the Township.
3 A Myriad of Artists have open Galleries for you to visit and to see them in action such as the Famous "Pro Hart", Jack Absolam etc.
4 The Miners Memorial at "The Line of Load" in Memory of our very brave Miners who lost their lives in the line of production underground. We shall never forget and so many families have been affected by their loss.
5 The Wonderful Train Museum in Blende Street which is just full of so much History and timeless relics. You can actually walk through the Old Carriages.
6 The Sculptures which are Artistic pieces carved in Stone and situated in The Living Desert with interesting walking tracks.

Stayed at Gum Paddock for 4 nights.It was just lovely. Gus the dog was an added friend to visit morning and night he was gorgeous. Chuck, was there to answer any questions we had and to tend to any ne… More
