Home description
The house has three bedrooms two doubles and one twin room all with double aspect views over open countryside. All these rooms have wardrobes and dressers.Upstairs there is also a bathroom. Downstairs there is a large kitchen with a large fireplace and wood burning stove electric cooker, dishwasher microwave oven all brand new there will also be a large kitchen table. There is a dining room with a dining table and six chairs and off the dining room there is a walk in shower and toilet. There is a large living room with comfy settees and chairs.

The Normandy / Eure region
The region is famous for Calvados and Cider it is also within reach of many towns and villages.
The local region has much to offer St Aubin is located 25km from the cathedral town of Lisieux in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region well known for its cider, calvados and cheese making traditions. The resort town of Deauville(55km) famous for its annual film festival. A short drive away is the port town of Honfleur which is a must for visitors, it has riverside restaurants and is very pretty
Broglie area
Bernay is a large busy town which has an exceptional market on a Saturday it has several banks, swimming pool, many shops including a great cheese shop.
Orbec is a smaller town (about 10 minutes away )but with plenty of character there are good restaurants there, one in particular is our favourite.
Broglie the nearest village is again interesting it has a river running through it .
How to get there
From Calais take the road to Rouen go through Rouen and pick up the new motorwaty the A13, take exit 15 and we are about 10mins from there. We usually go by Speedferries as this takes about 45 minutes and docks in Bolougne.

We would like £100 non-refundable deposit when you book and full payment 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. There is also a refundable deposit of 100 euro's for breakages.

Guestbook
A perfect retreat for two burnt out Londeners and their baby, Tuseday morning market at L'Aigle was great as was Saturdays at Bernay. Broglie has a nice riverside walk and yummy boulangere. Local castle worth a visit, we are going home totally relaxed.
