Home description
It is set in 2 acres of land mostly grass and fruit trees, there is an enclosed pond. There is a large comfortable living room with door to the garden and a well equipped kitchen. This is the second year we are letting it and last year we were booked almost completely through the year and we were very pleased with all the nice things people have said about the place. Book early to avoid disappointment.

The Normandy / Eure region
The region is well known for cider making and Bernay is a large market town about 8 miles away. There is a station in Bernay and you can catch a train to Paris easily from there. Plenty to see and do if you want to leave the sundrench terrace.
Broglie area
St Aubin du Thenney is a short walk away. Take a bike and ride off, there are very few cars and kids are really safe.
The local region has a lot to offer St Aubin is located only 25km from the cathedral town of Lisieux in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region well known for its cider and cheese making traditions. The resort town of Deauville(55km) famous for its annual film festival. is a must see for visitors to this part of France, while a short drive away lies the pretty port of Honfleur attracting artists and holidaymakers from all over the world.
How to get there
Take the ferry to Calais or Bologne take the motorway to Rouen, go through Rouen and pick up the motorway A13 carry on till you get to the new motorway the A28 Take the exit for La Mans and Alencon carry on and leave at exit 15 Orbec and follow signs to St Aubin du Thenney then take the first left in front of the church and take the left fork, carry on down country lanes take the first right and first left the cottage is on the left. It is newly painted so you can't miss it. I will sent more details when you book.

Further details outdoors: The cottage is in a very quite area surrounded by open farmland. There is plenty of room for kids to enjoy. It has got a splash pool it is about 3ft deep.
Conditions
A deposit of non refundable £100 is required when you book and the final sum should be sent at least 6 weeks before you arrive. When you arrive a refundable deposit of £60 is required by cheque which will only be cashed if there are any breakages.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required when booking, the remainder must be paid six weeks before the holiday.
Guestbook
There are loads of places to visit in the area we were quite amazed at how easy it was to get around. Broglie has a little riverside walk and aquatic gardens and there is a very good market on Tuesday in L'Aigle. All the locals were supremely friendly and welcoming. We also managed to visit the nearby castle ,Honfleru and the Abbey. We would love to do it again next year no doubt we will be in touch.
