Forest Glade, a beautifully presented substantial Edwardian house in the village of Brockenhurst at the heart of the New Forest.

Stunning scenery, changing seasons and a historic culture make the New Forest National Park a wonderful place to visit at any time of year. Brockenhurst is surrounded by the forest, making Forest Glade the perfect base from which to explore this glorious part of the world. Although the open forest is right on the doorstep, Brockenhurst itself offers every amenity you could want.

Forest Glade sits in a secluded plot on one of the main streets in the village. Despite its central location, the forest is within 800m with glorious walks in all directions. It is also just a 20-minute drive from the coast. And if the coast is on your list of 'must see places', you can even book the owner's traditional wooden beach hut at Milford-on-Sea to use during your stay.

Fabulous accommodation for families or groups of friends - sleeping up to eight people in four bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom/en-suite.

Short lets usually available (i.e. less than 7 nights) - please email for availability and prices.

In addition, you can enjoy a gourmet meal at Forest Glade. The owner is a professionally trained chef. She will produce a delicious meal to your requirements, dress the table in stunning fashion and serve everything up to perfection! Whether it's a special treat, or just a dinner party with friends and family, all you need to do initially is to contact us via email with your requirements.

About this location

The Hampshire region

There's no shortage of things to do in the New Forest . Many people enjoy walking in the woods or across the beautiful heathland. Cycling is very popular, or you can ride a horse, play golf, visit places of historical interest, enjoy a drink or meal out or go for relaxing walks along the coast.

The New Forest was designated a 'national park' in 2005. There are 15 National Parks in the UK. Known as 'Britain's Breathing Spaces', National Parks are areas of spectacular landscape which are protected so everyone can visit and enjoy them.

The New Forest has a unique historic, cultural and archaeological heritage from royal hunting ground to ship building, salt making and 500 years of military coastal defence. More than half of the National Park is designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), covering over 31,000 hectares and 17 sites.
