We had the most wonderful weekend at Yew Tree Cottage during the early May Bank Holiday this year when we surprised our mum for her 60th birthday. On arrival we found it extremely clean and tidy, we could tell instantly that it had been painted throughout. The welcoming goodies were such a lovely touch too and started our perfect weekend off nicely! The cottage was very well equipped, especially in the kitchen, including the fantastic dishwasher which was much needed for the entire weekend as we had hungry mouths to feed and pots to wash! The beds were extremely comfortable and having the two bathrooms was great. Yew Tree Cottage has a very warm, comfortable and homely feel to it, the living room and dining room were both spacious and our two year old nephews loved toddling around them as well as in the private, secure rear garden, which we were lucky enough weather wise to be able to make good use of. The communication of the owners, Gerry & Collette was second to none, from the enquiry to when we arrived back home, they made they whole process smooth and were extremly organised. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Cotswold gem and hope one day to return again as a family. |

Yew Tree cottage was perfect for a weekend with girlfriends! The location is really central to all the attractions in the area - we visited Snowshill Manor and Broadway - but spent most of weekend in the sunshine-bright kitchen, eating and drinking, or cosied up in the warm lounge, gossiping. We had everything we needed - including a complimentary bottle of wine and welcome note from the owners when we arrived. The bedrooms deserve special mention - I had the best night's sleep in ages! Thoroughly lovely property, and I'm hoping I can take the family there later in the year. Response: Hi Katherine, girls seem to be so good at arranging weekends away to catch up. Imagine how tempting it is to jump in and have a quick sleep before I continue cleaning the rest of the cottage...those beds are so good!! I will have to find something fizzy and none alcoholic for when the whole family come to stay. Thank you for taking the time to add a review. Kindest regards. Gerry and Collette |
