There are a number of indoor soft play centres, suitable for children under 6yrs - including Helter Skelter in Broadstairs and Jungle Jims in Birchington.
Joss Bay also holds a blue flag award. The coast here has some of the best waves in the area so its no surprise it also has its own surf school. Kayaks can be hired.
The Viking Coastal trail is a fabulous cycle route from Minnis Bay to Pegwell Bay. Bikes can easily be hired and you can either opt for a day of cycling or a shorter ride along the coast.
