The property is newly refurbished throughout, including a 'cooks kitchen' (including double range cooker). The kitchen door opens out into a secluded, courtyard-style garden for those warm summer evenings dining outside.
The spacious living room has 2 new large leather sofas, Sky TV and wireless high speed broadband (almost 7Mb so remember to bring your laptop!). The house also has a 'Beach annex' with separate entrance, so after a long day at the beach in the sun, you can drop off your beach stuff, have a quick shower and wander through into the main house to relax.
The new dining suite seats 6 and the room also includes two 'cigar' leather chairs for relaxing in before dining.
The bedrooms are all newly furnished with oak, ash and pine bedsteads, all cotton bedding and non-allergy duvets and pillows. Each room has bedside tables and lamps, plenty of room for your favourite holiday read!

The South East England / Kent region
Broadstairs is the jewel of the Isle of Thanet which is situated on the South-eastern tip of Kent with easy access from London and the continent. The area has above average sunshine levels and nearly 26 miles of golden, sandy beaches. Take a pleasure boat trip from nearby Ramsgate or take a Ferry to Ostend in Belgium. Famous Sandwich Golf Course and Canterbury cathederal are within 1/2 hour driving distance
Broadstairs area
Broadstairs was originally a small fishing village known as Bradstow. It has seven sandy beaches some of which have received the prestigious European Blue Flag or Seaside Award.
Dickens Festival is in June and the Folk week in August with summer entertainment at the bandstand throughout summer. There is pavillion cinema and vue cinema complex in Broadstairs and Granville theatre in Ramsgate and Winter Garden theatre in nearby Margate.
Crampton Tower Railway museum, Dickens Museum and Dickens Bleak House are within walking distance. Sports Centre and swimming Centres are located in nearby Ramsgate as well as in Margate only fifteen minutes drive. Within a few minutes drive there is a brand new shopping complex at Westwood with multinational stores and restaurants with multi screen cinema and a Casino.
How to get there
By Road
Broadstairs is easily reached from the M25.
If coming from the West of London, take M25 Junction 6 (M26) and follow signs for the M20. Follow the M20 to Junction 7 (A249). Follow the A249 to the M2. Head East bound on the M2 and then join A299 Thanet Way to Broadstairs.
If coming from North of London. Leave the M25 at Junction 2 (A2) and follow this road until it meets the M2 and turns into th A299 Thanet Way.
By Rail
Broadstairs Railway Station within walking distance and regular trains run from London Victoria and London Charing Cross stations. Both take approximately 2 hours.
The Eurostar runs regular services from Paris Gard Du Nord to Ebbsfleet and St Pancras Station, London
By Air
The closet airport is Kent International Airport at Manston (less than 5 miles away) Gatwick is approximately 80 miles and hire cars can be obtained at the airport in advance.
By Ferry
Ramsgate ferry port operates regular ferries to and from Ostend, Belgium
