I chose this accommodation for a week's break with my family because of the location and the sea views, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. I could quite happily have sat in the very comfortable conservatory looking out to sea and listening to the waves all week! The house is obviously well maintained by the owners, and is nicely furnished and equipped. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and spacious. The shower is powerful, with plenty of hot water available. Communication with the owner was friendly and responsive, and we were welcomed on arrival with a cup of tea and a tour of the property. The coastal path runs past the house, and there is easy footpath access down to either Stone Bay or Viking Bay (the main Broadstairs beach), both of which are lovely. We did get passers-by peering over the garden wall as they walked along the path, but the house is set far enough back to mean that it didn't feel intrusive. The location has no passing traffic, so it was generally very quiet at night. Overall this house had everything we were looking for in a quiet family seaside break. It was great value, and I would absolutely recommend it. |
