About the home

Seaside Escape is located just one minute from the beautifully sandy Stone Bay and a five minute walk to the heart of Broadstairs, famed for Dicken's Bleak house and some great restaurants and cafes of great character. Only fifteen minutes away, there is the town the Margate with the Turner Contemporary Gallery that has managed to prove that art can be fun for all generations and the busting port of Ramsgate with its own café culture. All the main towns are linked on the Viking Trail which is a fascinating walk or cycle with many points of interest.

The house has an open plan lounge and dining room that opens out onto the enclosed patio that is perfect for enjoying al fresco dining. With one double room, a twin and a further bed room with two bunk beds this makes an ideal holiday home for families to explore the local sights or just enjoy the beach.

The property rental prices are for 6 persons an additional camp bed can be arranged for a 7th guest charged at £30 per stay.

The South East England / Kent region

Ever since St Augustine landed in 597 AD to bring Christianity to England in Thanet the local area has always been of great interest to travellers. These days all tourists are welcome but if you look around the area you can see that the Romans and the Vikings had a real struggle to get a welcome from the natives. All that is left of those times are Forts (E.g.Richborough) and various remains plus the replica Viking ship at Ramsgate and they make an exciting way of rediscovering the culture of the area and The Viking Trail not only gives the information but whilst cycling or walking the trail you can actually breathe the history!

The Broadstairs area

Broadstairs is so typically British and full of contradictions, you simply have to come here to understand it. With its fine Dickens Festival and the former home of Edward Heath there is an air of gentility but the town shows a different side with amazingly energetic Broadstairs Folk Festival. For children , the beaches are sandy and safe with a great variety of amusements with crazy golf and a range of events put on over the year. Kite surfing and amazing golf just down the road or on the doorstep you have great cycle tracks, and paths. Surely there must be more restaurants,cafes and pubs per square metre in Broadstairs than anywhere else in Britain, so you will never run out of places to whet your appetite.

Making a Booking:

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

Prices

The above prices are for 6 guests a 7th guest can be accommodated on a camp bed in the living area for an additional £30 per stay.

Short Breaks:

The preferred arrival and departure is normally Saturday to Saturday.

Short Breaks can be arranged at 75% of the weekly rate from Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday.

Booking Fee, Paying by Credit Card & Extra Costs:

There is £10.00 booking fee that will be added to the total rental tariff. For guests wishing to pay by Credit Card there will be a 2% surcharge added to the booking alternatively there is no charge when paying by Debit Card or Bank Transfer.
