I have been going to Broadstairs for the last 15 years and this has to be one of the only cottages that I would sincerely say had it all. As a single parent with one daughter (now almost 17) it is always difficult to find suitable one/two bedroom affordable accomodation close to the town centre. I do not drive so the location was great for both the town centre and the train station. Everything too was provided so this minimised how much we had to carry. The cottage too was clean and comfortable with very taseful decor and a lovely outdoor patio which woud have been great had we gone in better weather. Despite the weather, Broadstairs has great resturants, pubs and coffee bars. The beach is sandy and the cliff top walks a marvel. Our 5 days were a much needed break from a stressful fast paced job in the city and a good environment for my daughter to catch up on her A' level studies...will be back! |
